The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

From what I've heard, the main problem is that "it doesn't have X from Oblivion/Morrowind." Whether it be spears, leg slot for armor, mysticism, etc.

I think if you go into the game expecting Oblivion with a makeover, you're going to be disappointed.
 
I think any experienced PC TES player knows we have to expect it to be slightly buggy and a bit broken when it is first released but then within days will come the Mods that will make a rough diamond into the gem that most TES games become!

I for one am looking forward to this not because of what it will be at release but because of it's future potential :)
 
Looking forward to this and I was pondering what race to play, I think I will stick to a human just because it feels right, strongly leaning towards Nord as it makes the most sense with the story as I understand it so far.

Anyway in my ponderings I found these wiki pages detailing race stats (probably found out by those naughty xbox children). Obviously don't look if you want to wait a few more days for the info:-

I've used Gameseek for my last two preorders [RAGE and BF3], and both arrived the day before release.... I had a query and sent a mail to which the MD replied directly, he even mailed me to see if I had received the game early.

I've pre-ordered Skyrim through them, so hopefully the good service will continue.
 
Not Asda for me anymore since they cancelled my Battlefield 3 order on release due to stocking issues...

Simplygames have my money for this one, never used them before however.
 
Looks like a lot of us are using Simplygames. I switched my orders (2 x 1) from rain forest as the pre-order price guarantee didn't appear to be working correctly.
