Oh dear, sorry people. Glad I put a maybe in my original post. Thanks for pointing out my error! :)

Still would like the info to ponder on before starting though. Don't think it would harm.
 
I hope this one starts outside unlike Oblivion or fallout 3.

You install some mods and then you have to play all through the first part not knowing if your mod is working till you get outside.:D

I have escaped that Dungeon in Oblivion more times than I care to remember.

You could have saved it at the point just before character creation (before you exit)
 
I can't link it but Zavvi also confirmed to me that their will be a map with my pre-order with them. PC version ofc !
 
Haha, to get around this, I've pre-ordered and am going to midnight opening. Would love to spend the 11th/12th/13th playing it, but unfortunately it's my anniversary, and doubt the misses would be too happy as she's booked something up for the whole weekend...

I just got the same reply from simplygames saying the PC version wont have the special map :(

Ordering it from the rainforest instead :p

I dont pre order from game anymore because my last two pre orders arrived a day late. And Play as most people know are 100% useless for software.

- REDGUARDS: Adrenaline Rush
- WOOD ELF: Resist poison, resisit disease, command animals
- NORD: Battlecry
- KHAJIIT: Night-eye, claw attacks
- IMPERIAL: Voice of the Emperor, find more coins when looting
- HIGH ELF: Regenerate Magicka more quickly
- DARK ELF: Ancestor's Wrath (surround self in fire), resist fire
- BRETON: Dragonskin (absorb spells), resist shock
- ARGONIANS: Histskin (regenerate health quickly), resist disease, breathe underwater

High Elves, Bretons and Magicka bonuses have been reworked completely. Instead High Elves have faster Magicka regeneration, and Bretons have their previous magicka bonus and spell resistance merged into Spell Absorption instead (absorbed spells recharge your blue bar).

High elves are superior at fighting non mages, Bretons are better at fighting mages.

It doesnt say how much the values are, but I read that the high elf bonus is 25% faster magicka regen, and I would assume that the Breton bonus is 25% spell absorption, and 50% shock resistance (Anything less than 25% base absorption would be too weak, anything more would be too powerful).

The final perk in Restoration also gives you 25% faster magicka regeneration, High Elves are likely going to want to grab that asap, Bretons on the other hand are going to want to increase their spell absorption as close to 100 as they can.

I've got the collectors edition on order but will be getting a digital copy if Game fail me, even though they have sent me an email of their intention to get it here in time, I remain unconvinced, in fairness I've had the last games from there a day before release.
 
I've managed to avoid thinking abuot this game so far, avoided all info & any hype. Until yesterday, that is. And I'm now trying to think of a reason not to preorder :D

Just a shame all the sites with any game info seem to be blocked at work (websense) since work is the perfect place for reading up on future games ;)
