Is it me or are there no impact effects when hitting enemies in combat? I mean, usually the enemy stagger or reacts to a sword impact but not what I see in Skyrim.

No hit reaction on archer at 3.22

Are you a Prime member? Or have you taken up their free month trial?

My options were:

FREE Super Saver Delivery (3 - 5 business days) First Class (up to 2 business days)
Expedited (1 business day(s)

I changed it expedited recently - after all they hype I really have to make sure I get this one on time!

I had an Amazon voucher to use plus I want to make sure I get it by the release date. I wouldn't trust a free delivery to do that & never heard of shopto so, well there you go.

Same. i had £30 of vouchers so i got skyrim + guaranteed release date delivery for £2.
Now its just showing as 1st class...

So I emailed Gameplay to see if they were sending their pre-orders out with the map, but for some reason they saw that as me cancelling my order. Now I'm jumping through hoops to get the item reordered, and I still don't know about the map. :/

Well mine is expected (if they fix my order, idiots) on the 9th or 10th. But it doest really matter, since we can't play it until steam unlocks anyway.

Well it's £35 on Steam, or £25 tesco, with the code above, although I wouldn't trust their delivery times, or £30 amazon/simply games/anywhere else for a physical copy on the day of release.

I think every game gets a paper map, and some of the sites on preorder get the *extra special* pseudo paper map as well - but to be honest it doesn't look very special at all.

£30 day of release will do me, if Steam was £30 I'd have bought there & got it preloaded, but not for an extra fiver.

I have to admit the map mania has me a bit boggled too. The amount of angst over whether a supplier has the cloth map version... I just don't get it.

I didnt realize I was automatically signed up to Prime for 2 years after my free trial :eek:

/Doh, changed it to do not renew. It cost a lot

Also I canceled my Amazon order too since its £24 with the premium map at tesco with that voucher
