The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

oh my god at the dragon trailer that was just on E3. Man this game is going to be sick...11/11/11 seems agesssssss :(

HOLY ****! that looks awesome. can't wait to play.

my small concerns were 1) we didn't see third person fighting and he said the same as he said last time which was that "this time it's a viable option" which ended up being rubbish and 2) it still looks really messy fighting in that you just end up clicking, running and swinging around missing the enemy

I think it looks great. I have always loved the stealth aspects of TES games, so i'm glad that they have not changed that so much.

I will always be forgiving concerning the Gamebryo engine as used by Bethesda, as i have loved the gameplay in all of the Elder Scrolls/Fallout games and have had relatively little problems. I realise that it makes the game borderline unplayable for some people, but i have barely seen a glitch in any of them :)

Looked great but when he switched to the Mammoths there was pop up grass with small draw distance ewwww, hopefully extended on PC version.

Snow part looked nice

Graphics is passable..not great, not bad. Similar to Oblivion. Animations are finally better and maybe it will even be playable in 3rd perspective, which is unheard of when it comes to Bethesda.
It will probably be good game.

Who cares if it's a new engine. Look at the vids, look at the shots. If you like it great, if not then get something else, why does it matter whether the engine is new or improved?

because the game engine adds or detracts from the gaming experience

oblivions experience was slightly ruined because of the engine

atleast for me
