The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I've posted this in the steam voucher thread but will also post here on the off chance that there is someone who hasn't yet got the game but it thinking about getting it in the steam mid week deal.

I have a 33% off Skyrim voucher, if you combine that with the mid week deal it gives an additional saving of £7.69, bringing the grand total of Skyrim down to £15.60.

Has anyone got anything good to offer in exchange?

Can you combine the vouchers though?

Ah, that's fair enough.

I think the best way to go would be posting it on MM Wanted section, you could exchange it for a game?

Trouble is, there is nothing I specifically want, just curious to see what i'm offered, I assume by posting in the wanted section, it must be specific?

I'm not overly bothered, i'm just posting in this Skyrim thread and the Steam voucher thread on the off chance I do get offered something I hadn't before considered.

Just bought Skyrim with a 33% off Steam voucher.

What do people recommend - Xbox controller or mouse+keyboard?

If you want to use magic or bows with any sort of accuracy on moving targets, mouse and keyboard is the only option really. Make sure you install SKSE and SkyUI in this case.

If you just want to play melée, eg: sword+shield, you'll quite enjoy playing with a pad IMO. The only downside is you can't really turn round quickly.

Source: Personal experience, playing with both. :)

If you use SKSE, it's easier to install and update mods with NMM rather than Steam Workshop since you won't be using the Skyrim Launcher anyway.

Either way, use BOSS to sort the load order out as neither NMM nor Workshop do it automatically.
