The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

No idea myself, but I'd like to see a return to Vvardenfell at some point, a couple of thousand years after Morrowind with newly built cities (but maybe underground access to small parts of the old cities).
 
I stuck it beside my torchbug in a jar on my alchemy table.

Edit: Tell a lie, I don't have a bee. I have a torchbug and a butterfly. They're both on my alchemy table. Must. Find. Bee. Jar. Now.

More importantly, what will the big bosses be and the focus of the main quest. They can't just do dragons again, but what in an RPG fantasy world is greater and more awesome than dragons.
Skyrim is going to be a tough act for bethesda to follow up on.
 
Christ, have we started speculating about the next game already?:p

If you want to speculate about anything, then go for the expansions that will be bought out! Hoping for Morrowind in one of those(it wasn't actually that big tbh, not that bigger than Shivering Isles)
 
Epic fail.

Put my new PC together today and lifted one of the HDDs off the old one. Thought I'd backed up the save games before I formatted it but GSM wasn't updated so it missed them :(

All my save files lost. Oh well, guess it'll give me an excuse to start again as a mage with Balanced Magic and see hwo the game looks with max settings.

Bit miffed I lost my Ranger and Sword/Shield Warrior but I'd done most of the plotlines I set out to do with them. Ranger had finished DB line. Warrior had done Companions and Main Quest. Mage had finished the College but I'll be wanting to experience the magic line from the start if I'm using Balanced Magic anyway.
 
suddenly - last few days I'm getting frame rate issues - can anyone help ?

basically sometimes when I leave a dungeon, house etc - my frame rates are dreadful - we are taking in the 12-14fps - vs normally in the 40s - and its almost unplayable

if you go back into the house and come out again - it often recovers to normal frame rates

any ideas please ?only really started happening after the recent beta patch - pc specs are a Q6600 with heavily oc'd GTX480

:eek: I would have been devastated if that happened to me after 260 hours on the game. I've backed up the 3gb save folder to 3 external hdds to be on the safe side.
 
Now thats paranoia :D

It was my own fault for not checking GSM had backed them up since I did it using individual files for each game. The 2 main ones probably had 30-50 hours each on them, rest of the time (115 hours total) is shared between my first mage and an illusionist I made for a laugh.
 
It was really nice to be able to go through character creation without blurry textures. Was so stupid trying to create a character when half the features would appear as a blur.
 
Has anyone done the "Battle for Solitude"? I had to do that console command to complete the quest because the game bugged out as soon as I were about to get the general to surrender.
Now that Ulfic is stuck in Battle for Solitude quest I cant complete "Liberation of Skyrim" stage. Does anyone know the command? I've tried the SetStage CWObj 1002 but its saying its missing etc.

Soo gutted I wish I had an other save point but I dont :(

hmm? i was always under the impression steam "cloudsaved" them.
