The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Sorry I might be a little tired, but I'm not having any luck installing the ENB mods. The game just won't load. Any tips?

The SKSE box flashes up, the game window flashes up for half a second and then just quits with no errors or anything :(

Not a patch, but it does look beautiful.

Except for the redhead with mascara and dark eyeliner on, wtf people.

Crysis looks very good in jungles etc (haven't played crysis 2) but the people in the actual game look quite poor IMO. The cutscenes are a lot better, but they are rendered differently IIRC.

This tool lets you edit the ENB without having to go into the files yourself: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=17400

Put it in the same directory as TESV.exe. Then you can untick vignette to get rid of the letterbox. Or you can edit enbeffect.fx and change #define HD6_VIGNETTE to //#define HD6_VIGNETTE. That should turn off the letterbox.

Thanks, due to me being tired I was being lazy and hadn't searched yet. Found that line and edited it and it's much better without the letterbox.

So, using that mod, would I just slight the Ambient Light slider to the right a click or two to get more light at night? what about in dungeons? I find them very dark with the Unreal Cinema ENB and have had to up the game brightness about 15%.

Would just like to say also, that previously I was getting really bad stuttering in Skyrim with my GTX670. Since disabling SSAO in the NCP and installing this ENB mod, the stuttering has reduced vastly. I have liost about 15-20 FPS but that's worth the loss of stuttering, especially when I still get 50+ FPS most of the time!

can someone please explain how i get this? i cant find where to download this enb?

I have tried multiple enb mods and tbh I prefer the realistic lighting mod (with a few custom tweaks).

enb is great but I feel 90% spoil the original feel of skyrim making the plants ect to colorful.

I turned off the film grain effect. I hoped I'd be able to simply reduce to a better looking level, but I could see the option without fiddling with the ini files manually. I just turned it off and tbh it looks way better without it IMO

a couple of my own mods in there :)

I tend to play in first person mode all the time so sorry for the poor 3rd person shots.

same here. Claralux is a good addition to it as well, from the guy who did Eectro-City from New Vegas.

Tried that = skyrim crashing must be conflict with one my other mods
