The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

:(. Just done new build for pc was sure backed up everything but forgot to backup my 192 hour save of skyrim. That not the worst of being a mod creator myself I forgot to backup all source files and data files for the mods I have spent over 500 hours creating :(.
Ah well now I can run skyrim at max settings without pc breaking a sweat. Was very limited to what texture packs and enhancements I could use on my last rig :) time to mod this to hell.

ENB 0.113 just released... which now comes with sun rays.

ENB has become an awesome tool for Skyrim which transforms the visuals to the level of the best of the best... personally I think Skyrim beats almost everything out there, with the right mods.

Looks great, but does it look as good during gameplay? Will install it tonight after the pub :)

Which is the best ENB to get? Is there a generic "ENB" I have to install, then choose an overlay? Or just install a popular ENB mod such as this?

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=822

Take any good ENB config and then add the .113 d3d9.dll from here... http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.htm

I would recommend Unreal Cinema or TV_ENB both come with a letterbox effect, but its very easy to reduce or remove.

I think this effect looks great in gameplay, but I've only been running it for a short time, so there maybe times when it doesn't look so good or gets annoying.

Cool thanks lads. I currently have Realistic Lighting with Customisation which includes a sunglare, SSAO, Enhanced Distant Terrain, Better Dynamic Snow, Real Ice etc, but I don't like the bloom or the darkness, they're too strong.

SES is very good (the one you linked to), Vibrancy_an ENB Series adaptation is getting quite popular lately.

I might wait with the guide's update until Skyrim 1.6 patch is out, all the mods get updated and ENB configs implement ENB 0.113.

Not to mention that I have to remove my mods and reinstall some of them using Wrye Bash.

What benefits does Wyre Bash have over Nexus Mod Manager? :)

It's better for resolving conflicts and dependencies. It's better for mod authors too.

However, I would not recommend using it unless you're a proper nerd that enjoys ****ing around with files more than playing the game. The basic functions provided by Nexus Mod Manager are enough for most people.

Cheers :) I don't seem to have any conflicts with my list of mods so I should be fine.

I'm pretty sure RLWC doesn't use SSAO.

I might use Mod Organizer instead, NMM just doesn't cut it any more and some mods require Bashed Patch to work properly. The worst thing is corrupted saves at the moment, so many mods break any game with time.

Does anyone know if any of the more popular graphics mods cause this? It is only visible on grass.

edit: just downloaded the enb 0.113 and it looks really great. Can someone tell me how to disable the sun texture? it keeps trying to grab my attention over my lovely sun rays.

I noticed that there is a one second delay where the sun glare texture is visible through solid objects. Is there a way to speed up the delay or remove the texture altogether?
