Thanks for the mod names Mr Krugga, definitely going to check those out. I notice someone mentioned shadows on an earlier page, I'm not having much problems with outdoor shadows but indoor there are some horrible shadows that appear on the characters, can those be fixed?

Anyone else have intermittent freezing? I love this game but after 140 hours I get freezing on one of my characters. It usually happens every 1-2 minutes and usually lasts for about 10 seconds.

Music still plays, but the game is frozen.

Any ideas on a fix? After checking the Nexus forum it seems pretty common.

They don't look bad with a proper ENB config.

Try More Dynamic Shadows and Striping Fixed from Workshop too. If the interior shadows appear to be the issue, decrease the shadow distance, it will increase the shadows resolution. Likewise, increase the overall, primary and secondary shadows resolution to 4096 or 8128 and see if it helps. The performance impact will be there, mind you.

Other than that, I would recommend a few lighting fixes.

Anyone know of a fix or mod for Aela to get her to stop saying "Something has shifted in the moons, brother." over and over and over? it's really doing my head in as she's my spouse and it's all I hear

tried Googling but didn't really come up with much, other than people having the same trouble.

Enter a small cave in the world. After it's loaded, save game in a new slot. Exit to Desktop. Disable all mods. Perform a Steam cache integrity check. Load game. Use time skip and skip 30 in game days. Save game in a new slot. Exit to Desktop.

Load game and test for your 'lag' bug.

Make sure to delete SkyrimPrefs.ini, Skyrim.ini and RenderInfo files from Documents/My Games/Skyrim.

I think I've spent more time modding and fiddling with the game than I have playing it

Got it looking really nice now though (one, two). It's really hard to get ENB right, sometimes it's too dark, sometimes too light, or sometimes just right. It's very easy to notice lightsources now also - how they mostly aren't directly coming from a lap or a sconce and instead are just placed near it to encompass a few lights.

Pffffffffffffffffffff. That awkward feeling when you haven't played Skyrim for ages, fancy a go, fire it up and can't remember which mods you're using but know something's not right. SKSE is out of date, too. Can I be bothered to remod/relearn everything?

Reinstall or fight on?

Well Dragonborn is out soon and it looks great! ....I am getting a game ready for it atm. Also If you haven't played Dawnguard I would say it is worth it, I was actually quite impressed with it after hearing mixed comments.

I'd fight on unless you are getting major issues

By the time you've finished modding it again you won't feel like playing

SKSE only takes a min to update anyway...

But yea, I'm the same. I have kept all mods and just update them when I log into the nexus mod manager. Pretty simple, not had any issues.

Other than leveling is VERY fast and I still cant work it out..

I'm currently using Better Females by Bella and Coverwoman over the top, but it just doesn't sit right. The neck seam is pretty visible and the face doesn't really have any texture. I'm also having annoying flickery lines of shadow as you can see.
