Im using the other FXAA injector mod too, and it stops afterburner from working

I cant monitor FPS or record anything using Afterburner with these injector mods.

It hasn't made any difference to me FPS-wise, I only get around 20fps in citeis no matter what i do anyway. AA, AF, Shadows, nothing makes any difference

Which one are you using Neil, Low saturation or normal?

It doesn't stop afterburner from working for me, just the OSD, which i don't use anyway.

btw Radeon Pro OSD still works with the injector mod on but i have to restart RP after the game has loaded, maybe afterburner will be the same?

Christ!!

You guys really do play this game on some crazy brightness levels.

To get the true experience you need to turn your brightness all the way down.

Then its a 1000x better.

Eh no this is on default gamma on a highly hardware calibrated monitor, I can't turn the brightness all the way down or it makes me ill(vertigo) concentrating on dark screens while gaming.

Another FOV fix

* Create a backup of the skyrim.ini file * Open the file, then scroll down to where it says [General] * At the bottom of this section, add fdefaultfov=XX (where XX is the FOV value you want to change to) * Save, exit, and play

That is what i have done as it wouldn't stay as a console command.

I think that this isn't far off the best looking game i have ever seen tbh, and we haven't even got High-res textures yet.

Ok it still looks like blocky ****, no difference. I must be doing something wrong...

fixed it by changing to fShadowDistance=2500.0000

Using fdefaultfov=80 doesn't work for me, added it to all 3 .ini files in [general].

How far is fShadowDistance=2500.0000 ? Just mine was at 8000 by default and I'd like to get the non pixelated shadows but not sure I'd like to only have shadows on stuff in the immediate vicinity if that's the case.

The Fov thing worked at first but as soon as I reloaded an auto save, the fov was messed up and i'm sure going inside and back out again from a location again fov messed up. Could be wrong, but something keeps defaulting it

I think it's the lighting effects that do that (the fires when you enter Whiterun really cripple my FPS).

Try lowering Light Fade in the View Distance tab, see if that helps.

I just set it manually when I enter the game, the ini file settings never worked for me either.

Not impressed with the FXAA PPI, tried a few of the different versions and doesn't look as natural as the defult to me.
