On what hardware?

I get 60fps whilst recording on decent but not top end hardware.
 
Ending a few processes in task manager can claw back a few fps, but it is strange how nothing makes much difference, if i put everything on ultra with top AA and AF i get exactly the same result as if i turn AA and AF completely off. Also shadows and decal quality doesn't make any difference.
 
I used the Nexus Mod Manager along with the FXAA mod and various other mods, now Skyrim won't load, all I get is a black screen then the usual Skyrim is not responding, which results in logging off/on and task manager to kill it.

I have re-installed in different locations, removed registry keys but still no luck, any ideas?

*Edit* Nvm, fixed it by deleting skyrim folder from 'My Games'.

Phenom quad core @3.4ghz, they say that the game is cpu dependent but i can't believe it makes that much difference surely?

I only recently removed an OC on it because it caused instability in BF3.

Maybe the brightness is set too high on your monitor because the low saturation FXAA mod and screenshots look perfect to me.

My monitor is actually very bright - I have to turn the brightness down to 30%, and contrast down to 35% in the Nvidia drivers to make it usable.
 
I want to start a new character for this game since my current character is a lot sluggish and I have done some terrible choices during my play trough.

I plan to re-install the game.

What kind of mods and tweaks would you guys suggest? I have a Radeon HD6950 2GB unlocked to 6970.

I see why you're sad now, not enough details to suit your needs, huh? :p


The nude females mod is mostly pointless, it doesn't add much to the game in terms of gameplay but it can be hilarious at times if used properly (see previous posts).
