Yeah I'm running Ordenador and compressing to 2048, some of the files are going from 10mb to 2mb. :eek:

Posting in the Skyrim thread would take forever for a reply, and that's if anyone notices my post. My drivers are fine, clean install on the latest 7xxx beta drivers.

EDIT: Plus, this isn't really a Skyrim question, more me wondering whether my GPU can't handle it or if I'm not just being paranoid about my HDD. Hardware issue.

Ran around taking some pictures, messing with ENB. Imgur needs an option when you generate images: large thumbnails + links to original. You can just delete the l before the .jpg to see fullsize.

Seasons impacts performance a little too much for me unfortunately. I just stick with Project ENB performance edition. Looks good enough for me. Those shots look great though

Well I turned off DoF (using Dynavision instead), and SSAO and SSIL are in fast mode. So performance I am finding to be very good. I increased uGridsToLoad to 7 as well.

Love my new GTX670

. FPS is 50-60 out doors. Solid 60 inside. Maybe in some of the most demanding areas FPS drops to 45. Marsh/swamp area N of Morthal always a good place to test performance.

Would someone recommend me a ENB please, Been modding it for a few days now and got most things sorted, but I would like to try a ENB, which is considered the best? any tips on settings etc etc?

These are currently my favourites configurations K ENB , Bleak/Unbleak , Wintertide , Pineapplevision

That K ENB is fantastic but is a gigantic FPS hit, a 7950 with a decent overclock pushes 50fps at 1440x900, it brought in a ton of microstuttering too.

Personally I loved the Wilds ENB but that isnt there anymore for some annoying reason.

This looks the best, because it gives it all the benefits of an ENB without the horrid overly stylized look.

Note: I can't check any of the ENB's out though as whenever I go to download one the site is down.

Really need to get into modding this again, especially with the new DLC coming. Will wait for all the mod updates though after its release

I'll be reloading Skyrim again when Dragonborn arrives. I've been holding back because I don't want the mods to break my new game once the expansion arrives.

I went for the pineapple ENB mod, and it looks quite good out of the box, very moody, although slightly annoyed by the cinematic black bars top and bottom, damn things are hiding my Msi afterburner read out lol

You can remove the black bars in the ENB config file I think.

I found the file, but it's .fx? how do i open it, or is it just edit the option from the in game menu?

Any text editor, notepad will do. Notepad++ is a good free one.
