Thanks, it runs really nicely too, 40 FPS everywhere when recording with Fraps. Without Fraps I'm sure it would be 60 most the time.

The ENB is Seasons of Skyrim, with SSAO/DOF/Skylighting all turned off. Using Dynavision Static DOF to blur the distance.

Main mods are probably Skyrim HD Lite, WATER, Vurt's Skyrim Flora Overhaul Summer Edition, and Enhanced Lights and FX.

Are you using Climates of Tamriel too? I thought that SoS was built to work with CoT but if not then great! I hate CoT, cannot stand how it makes grass glow in the overcast weather and when they are in shadows, completely breaks immersion. Terrible mod.

I'm not using CoT, don't really like it either. Seasons of Skyrim doesn't need it. Project ENB by the same author is the one that works with CoT.

Feel free to download my rolled up file with all of those mods see link below.

The file is split into 7 rar files and will need to be extracted and then put back into a single rar file and then added to nexus mod manager.

So, I updated to the beta version of Skyrim the other day, fancied testing my mettle with the legendary garb etc etc only to find it's not in difficulty settings? Bit weird, oh and SKSE loader hasn't caught up yet :/

If anyone wants to try a good performance based ENB, i'd recommend True Vision ENB. I've tried many enb's but this one is my fave.

Use with ENB Series v0.119
Remember to turn brightness all the way down
"Dark Dungeons for ENB" mod is recommended with this enb (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12454)

I made quite a few changes to the enb settings to refine it further to my tastes (mainly fog, sunlight and night lighting), if anyone wants my exact config:

Some Screenshots, although they don't capture the correct brightness (too bright), they'll give you an idea

Yeah i downloaded it and get the same, apparently my Skyrim version 1.9.29.0 is too new lol.

All I have to do is swap ENBs then.

You sure you don't have SSAO on? Did you photoshop them images then

? The shading looks absolutely perfect.

SSAO is definitely off, and there is no photoshopping.

Does anyone use climates of tamriel with realistic lighting overhaul? haven't noticed any conflicts so long as you don't use any of the cot extras like interiors and use default experience dungeons and caves.

I just wish candles would produce smoke like you get it from enhanced lights and fx.

Ok guys, I've just got this for my PC. I spent a lot of hours playing it on the Xbox 360 but fancy playing it WASD style since getting my new gaming PC. (i3 3220 - 8GB DDR3 - 7850 2GB DDR3).

I'm not interested in making the game look as realistic as possible, I just want nice visuals whilst maintaining smooth gameplay. I don't want to over do it with tons of graphical addons.

Can anyone please suggest me on the best ones to use? Is there just an easy texture pack I can apply?

It's not my work, but I have used it, the guy who put it together is on this thread, back just 2-3 pages

You have a very similar set up to mine, so this pack won't give you any performance issues.

They're great, esp the grass/flowers, I take it that's an ENB enhancement?

I have tried ENB's but they haven't made the game look any better really and if i'm looking at snowy mountains in the distance the clouds/mist/snow goes into spasm.

The mods I have added have really improved the interiors, they're great, the exteriors are not so good.

PS - How do you add screen shots, like you have?

The grass/trees etc are Vurt's Skyrim Flora Overhaul, the Summer Edition. Makes everything much greener, the tundra near Whiterun for example is gone (I never liked it anyway).

The ENB is just for the colour changes and detailed shadows. I think nearly all ENBs have some problems. With Seasons of Skyrim I am using, when going near Word Walls the colours become inverted (or negative maybe) and it looks crap while you learn the word of power.
