I've had this myself - see if you can backup the saves and reinstall the game, I know this is a really horrible inconvenience, but it's what I had to do to get the saves working again. The save games are located in my documents/my games/skyrim.
I would recommend you do 'verify game cache' first by right clicking Skyrim on your Steam games list and choosing that option there. It will do a partial repair as opposed to a complete reinstall. Try that first!
Yeah, verifying game cache won't help me, I've done that right after getting rid of all the mods.
It's something else causing the crashes, I'm gonna try with FXAA Injector off now.
There's no point in reinstalling the game since none of the other files were modified as far as I know.

Does anyone know if there's an addon for a scorlling combat text like in wow but for skyrim?

Yeah I like it too, it also seems to play a sound whenever you're close to one, did you notice? I'm wondering if it works for plants too.

Well I have to say my fav mod is the blood textures one. Ok the blocky faces and FXAA are really good. But the blood textures is so damm subtle but makes the game feel so much better when you smash someone in the face with a giant axe

I'd really like a mod that would bring my saves back. If I can't fix it by tomorrow, I'm rolling a thief next week.

When i had problems like this, it was normally a mob bugging out and crashing the game, so i reloaded to an auto save or older save and it fixed the problem for me.
Sure your not close to Nirnroot?
It wasn't that, none of the saves that were made outside the Jarl's castle were working.
lol why didnt i think of making that
i give up modding the game though i spend 30mins making a highres version of the bar then forgot the game needs repeating textures
my bar looked awesome compared to the default one but had a couple of lines where the texture is cloned
i didnt save the pdf either so i would have has to redraw each section of the bar and i just cba , it would be so easy to make everything into hires if the game came with proper templates for each mesh

I'd love to install some of these MODS but I can't get them to work, the windowless MOD would be fantastic, and I'd love to try out some of the graphical ones.
Any help? I've tried but it just results in the game crashing as soon as it's launched

Any particular errors? is it all mods even texture ones or just the stuff that includes a custom dll?
