The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Excellent that's what I'm currently running.

So I have it installed now, using the SFO LoD patch for the trees, and as the ENB suggests switched from Relighting Skyrim to ELFX.

Everything is very bright at the moment, so going to play around to get the settings right & then will post some screenshots.

FPS is tanked down for about 20 fps from 60.
Brightness I still can't find a fix for!

EDIT: I have a feeling the ENB is using my default .ini's and not the MO ones.
Have applied the ENB fixes to both files.

No Luck, it looks great but shadows are annoying me and the performance hit is insane!

Yeh same!

I did notice certain screenshots of this enb/mod and from what I can tell although it looks more realistic in parts, some of the brightness is less than desirable, especially on animals and characters faces

I'll give it a whirl and see if it goes any differently. Will report back soon. :D

I think I have it installed OK now, just the weather needed to reset itself. I like the some of the weathers, but I don't think I like the ENB at all. Looks very bland & extremely sharp.

Let us know how you get on! :)

Fist impressions are, thank God for G-Sync! I'm running Vanilla with only this, ELFX and the HD textures pack and I'm getting 44fps looking up Whiterun!

I found the lighting far too sharp, but just go to your game settings and turn the brightness all the way down.

I'll post some screenies later, when I've added all the other mods in.

The performance hit is about the same as my custom enb mashup, which is largely based on Quietcool enb (which doesn't seem to be around anymore :()

Must say I'm not a big fan of this one from what I can see. I like realistic enb's but this is a bit too washed out, and looks very 'soft' compared to mine.

Back to how it was, again! I should just be happy with what I've got and stop messing about.

I have been using True Vision ENB for a few hrs and it looks and runs very nice, its from the same guy who done Seasons of Skyrim. He has updated it to use the 0.262 enb and it runs at 45-50 out doors and 60 inside on my mid range setup. Very happy inside using relighting skyrim its dark but you can still find things without using a torch

Here is the link http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15983/?. The snow for enb that it uses makes a big difference in snow storms. Off to grab a few more screenys :)

So im having a few issues with the storyline. I've done all the Thieves Guild quests (as i'm a stealthy thief type) and im now guildmaster. Now i've started the Civil War storyline and I've been sent to Riften to find proof of the Jarls alliance with the Thieves Guild...

Does it have any affect on me at all or is it just bad writing?

Re-rolling again. This may sound noobish after playing 700 hours in Skyrim, but for the first time I installed EnBoost last night to run along side SSME. Seems to work smoothly.

I'm going to run this time with all the USKP's, some Cabal textures, some NPC textures and Skyfalls which I love. LOOT sorted of course. Hoping it will be as stable as it can be. Maybe I'm just dreaming. One day...

I'm trying out a few different ENBs today. Currently experimenting with Vividian ENB.

It seems quite promising, BUT, and it's a big but - I can't make any further changes to anything myself. No tweaking of the values in the enbseries ini file has any effect at all. With my previous set up I could tweak settinsg at will, live and in game too, by pressing shift and enter to bring up the menu and tweaking on the fly.

This now doesn't work, and my anti stutter fix method has no effect either. Does this enb somehow 'lock' you out of making any changes at all? I can't see how it's doing it. Any advice?

Finally about to start playing this for the first time, now I have a PC up to the task.

Going to try and install all the recommended mods from the start. Hoping it lives up to the expectations.

Edit the ini file directly?

Tried that. It has no effect for key settings under [environmnet] like tweaking ambient lighting intensity, sunrise, day, sunset, night, and interior stuff. This is absolutely key to get it to my liking. I don't understand why changing values is having no effect???

Delete the ini and see if the ENB misses it. Maybe it's loading from cache or elsewhere.
