The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Off topic I know but did anyone side with the reklings at thirsk hall?
Do they really come help you when you're in combat?
Is it worth it?
There any advantage to helping the Nord's?

Teeth mod tested now for 4 hours and definitely improves lip sync massively over vanilla. Its not perfect and occasionally it wont sync immediately but usually does by the end of the conversation. For the most part its great. I use the two 1k options below:

Does anyone know if there was ever a fix for the quick reflexes bug? Usually I just avoid the perk, but would be great to see a fix.

Just installed, and looks like a decent improvement.

Who was accusing anyone of lying? Appologies I just posted my experience no offence meant. To be fair I havent tried them with enboost yet. The occasional pauses im on about are when transversing the landscape and moving across cells. I just used to get a slight pause occasionally vs none on 1k.

What other mods are you using?
I run 4k/8k textures on SLI 680's and my game runs smooth but down to having my game and mods on an SSD as well. Loading them is smooth.

When I last tried them I was running them with CaBal texture mods and 4k snow. It ran smoothly for me, but just the occasional hitch/pause every now and then when for the first time moving across large sections of landscape. Since then I've put in the frame cap ini tweak and installed enboost so my experience may change now. I'll revisit at some point. But when I did get the occasional stutter, it was 100% gone when I ran the lite version instead. With that I could walk from Whiterun to Markarth without a single split second pause from first booting up Skyrim with nothing already cached.

Steam is all installed on an SSD btw. :)

Are you running the unofficial patches and recommended fixes in the OP?
Guessing you installed the mods manually as well?

Yes to USKP's & LOOT sorted
NMM installed
No I haven't followed everything in OP, I usually use STEP as my guide (EDIT: just to add I have read the OP though and used some of the tweaks, just not willing to install all mods etc)

:)

Does it benefit your game in anyway? As I can't seem to find a video to show it

I've only been using it for the past couple of weeks. But basically it applies the SKSE memory block allocation fix, but without the need for SKSE. So for my current mod build I'm rolling with, it gives me an alternative to not having to use SKSE.

I did read that once you use the memory block allocation fix then using enboost may help further to cope with the additional memory allocation that you've enabled with SSME. Hence why I'm now also running enboost too. So far no issues whatsoever and all is running great. But it is early days for me.

Ahh okay, I already have SKSE installed so it looks like there's no need for me to download SSME.

I'll have to give enboost a go as quite a few people have mentioned it now.

I forgot I had ssme installed, and was using the latest beta skse, and enboost. I think this may have been the cause of a lot of my recent crashes I was getting. I got rid of ssme and *touch wood* it seems a lot better in terms of crashes! Might be placebo but I'm sure it's smoother and even 'less stuttery' with my stutter fix too :-)

I guess ssme and skse might conflict with each other??

Here's T.A.Z - Average framerate has been around 20-40.

Issues:

  • Massive performance Hit, will try tweak some settings
  • Grass looks very bright green in the distance (Using Verdant Plugin) - See below
  • Interiors and Nights are completely black, even with a torch it's difficult
  • Sun looks a little odd without clouds (Sun sprite doesn't look right)

Bright Grass?

Downloading the new 2.0F version of SFO and installed 1k darker grass textures for Verdant.

Looks really nice in places, but maybe a bit over colour saturated in others?

The farmhouse and also one of the windmill pics look superb though. :)

Sorted my 2k texture occasional stutter with enboost and frame clamp. Also tested difference with and without enboost. My system ram dropped from around 2GB to now 650mb! VRAM has increased of course and is now up to around 3GB at times. Glad I've got 4GB cards ;)

Either way all running great.
