The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Do you have the correct version of the ENB files the ENB creator is using?
Sometimes they use older versions of the files.

Yep, he recommends 2.62+. Tried 2.62 and 265 latest one. Just using the d3d9.dll and enbhost files as recommended from enb dev.

Delete the ini and see if the ENB misses it. Maybe it's loading from cache or elsewhere.

Tried it. No good.

I think I give up unless anyone has any more suggestions. It only seems to allow certain parameters to have any effect by manually changing either in game on the fly, or in the enbseries ini file before you load a game. Really really weird, and totally useless to me as I need to tweak. It's a pity as this one had potential to work on.

Oh well, better make the most of it! :(

Will the Tamriel Reloaded HD work be compatible with other visual change mods? For example Skyrim HD 2k Textures? As the mod page from TRHD only states

COMPATIBILITY
Since i moded 345345435 things, better ask buts it must be compatible with any mod, depends of the load order and install order you do with the mods.

Tried that. It has no effect for key settings under [environmnet] like tweaking ambient lighting intensity, sunrise, day, sunset, night, and interior stuff. This is absolutely key to get it to my liking. I don't understand why changing values is having no effect???

Serenity Enb is similarly untweakable. The author has removed certain enb features yet the options are still shown for them but do nothing. Or at least in the normal places, instead there are new presets within the right set of menu's.

Thanks fella. I've now reverted everything back to my custom enb, (again!) largely based on quietcool enb, lots of various select mods, interiors based on RLO only plus my own tweaks, and my personal stutter tweaks for gysnc. And I have to say, not wanting to blow my own trumpet, it ***** on everything I've been messing with over the last week. Looks fantastic and runs very well, and smooooth on my set up.
Ah well, you have to try these things. Every 6 months or so I try tweak skyrim again, but always come back to what I had.

As it's mostly texture based, it will overwrite skyrim hd 2k. I've tried trhd and decided I'm not keen on the textures and the performance hit is poor. Lots of stutters introduced on my system. Skyrim hd 2k is the oldest but by far the best IMO

Can we try it out?

Hmm, I think I'll stick with Skyrim HD 2k then for now, thanks for the reply.

I restarted my game after doing that. ;)

I dont wanna restart im too far in!

Just restart from the start of the Dawnguard quest and then decline the offer to join the Vampire ranks. You still "get" the girl at the end even withuot being a Vampire Lord.. :p

PS: You can cure yourself from being a Vampire by going and talk with Falion over at Morthal, but you would need a filled Black Soul gem for that though.

I've a question - can I run HD textures with r9 270 DCII OC? I wanted to re-play the game but I'm kinda unwilling to spend my time downloading it and setting it up only to find out that HD text. won't work.

You definitely can. I'm running 2k textures on a 6950 2gb which is... 3 or 4 years old? Runs like a dream. (i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz and 16gb ram).

Teeth mod tested now for 4 hours and definitely improves lip sync massively over vanilla. Its not perfect and occasionally it wont sync immediately but usually does by the end of the conversation. For the most part its great. I use the two 1k options below:

Does anyone know if there was ever a fix for the quick reflexes bug? Usually I just avoid the perk, but would be great to see a fix.

Even on my high end rig, I'd always notice more occasional pauses with 2k textures over vanilla or the 1k lite versions. Just my experience of course.

Who was accusing anyone of lying? Appologies I just posted my experience no offence meant. To be fair I havent tried them with enboost yet. The occasional pauses im on about are when transversing the landscape and moving across cells. I just used to get a slight pause occasionally vs none on 1k.
