The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

I made my first few mods for Skyrim earlier, already has fairly good reception :) Feels good!

Added a Bear to Riverwood, and added some trees around Whiterun's river.

@scubes My current mod list using Mod Organizer for Skyrim Special Edition.

Ignore the unmanaged mods, those are my own. Just the ones with the tick box, if you click "Plugins" then "sort" on the right hand side, it will automatically put the mods in the correct priority. I can load in safely and travel with this mod list. LOOT reports nothing major and they have been cleaned with SSEEdit.

im having problems with my skyrim the problem is when im running my character swims on the path and the screen will go a light brown and the sound crackles any suggestions .

regards scubes.

Are you getting your hands/weapons going invisible intermittently when that happens? something like that used to happen if you were rendering too high FPS.

I've pushed a few small mods out recently, learning as I go so they are quite small.

Not against the rules to advertise/post my own mods right?

Nope lol. It can be worth it if your work is popular you need to opt in to receive donation points you receive one per download each is worth $0.001 so 1000 downloads = $1 US. There are game keys to purchase in the Nexus store or pay for Premium etc. I've enough DP for Lifetime Premium.

Don't happen to have a guide you used for get started? I'm just wanting to create some simple ones. Just simple things like a Power linked to animation\attack. For instance a new shield bash via the shout key.

I'd consider myself advanced in Skyrim modding. I use Zedit, SSEdit, converting to ESL, Bash patching\Smash Patching, etc, etc.

But actually creating from scratch, that's not something I've ventured into just yet.

For those new to modding SKYRIM i'd suggest using Vortex, far less faffage than the alternatives like Mod Organizer and to coin a phrase 'It just works'. :D

Excellent free piece of software that syncs really well with Nexus and i've had far fewer issues than any other method, the UI is nice and all you have to do is D/L, install and enable.

Darkfox127's video tutorials are probably the most comprehensive modding tuts out there. Written ones its hard to recommend any specific other than the ones on Bethesda's CK wiki pages. If you're looking to answers to specific questions Nexus' Creation Kit and Modders subforum is the most active out there currently, there are two though for each version of the game so check both though the SSE one tends to be more specific to that game as Bethesda has added new content there.
