I've put this in the steam apps/common/skyrim folder as suggested. Merchants now have 1k instead of 10k as they should have. Any one else have this?
 
1. Are you sure it is in the right place? The .esp should be in your data folder and should show up in your Skyrim launcher under Data files, and should be ticked.
2. Apparently sometimes for it to take affect you have to wait a few days for vendors to refresh.

No problems for me, how have you narrowed it down to the thunder?

Also, essential dogs is great.

And i tried the HD bookd textures and they definitely look better than whichever textures i already had(i don't know if they are changed by any other pack?)
 
Started getting CTD every 10 mins or so. I removed all MODs and it was completely fine.

I added them all back and then went through each MOD removing one at a time. After removing the thunder, the frequency of the CTDs has dropped greatly.
 
Are you using the mod manager?

I ask because these are only textures and sound files, i don't see how they are really causing crashes, playing hundreds of hours of previous Elder Scrolls/Fallout games and using hundreds of mods, i only ever got ctd's/problems with proper mods(with masters and plugins), but never with textures and sounds.
 
I don't see how textures would be causing problems unless you're running out of memory.

Saying that, sounds can be related to some audio driver issues so make sure that there are no problems there.

That Enhanced Distant Terrain mod is awesome as well!

Gonna try this tomorrow- HD Khajit textures, the screenshots look great

And Detailed Rock Normals, the first version wasn't great but it looks loke it has been perfected now. Rocks are probably already improved in one of the other packs i am using, but this looks good.
