that's pretty much my mod list too, except I don't have the FXAA PPI or that caves rock snow texture pack. I have a few others too, but all texture mods really.

Is the thunder overhaul very good? I haven't got that either.

Actually rethinking, I have more mods than I remember. Off the top of my head, I also have nude females (who doesn't?!), glowing or veins, improved night sky (the colour stars one), HD furniture etc. Sure I have more that I'm forgetting about. It's the shield texture I really want improved now...

99% certain i am getting this for Xmas, my system is :

Q6600 at stock
HD3870 512mb
4gb
32 bit Win7 (So not seeing all the memory obviously.

What sort of performance should I expect?
 
Hi guys, I'm new to modding so go easy on me!
I've just downloaded and installed the Nexus mod manager.
Also downloaded the 4gb patch using the mod manager and activated it.
So, do I now launch the game via the manager and the patch (and any other ones I get) work?
Would the files work if I start the game through Steam?

I know you need to run the skyrim4gb.exe file and this will edit the TESV.exe or something to allow it to play with 4GB...

You know what, I actually don't know. I've just been running skyrim4gb.exe everything I want to play rightly or wrongly.

So I'd like to know the answer to this also.

Me too. I just run that and every time a little box comes up saying loading skyrim then the game starts. Haven't had a single crash or texture glitch since using it
 
Yeh with the other mods its easy to see if they are working in game.
With the 4gb patch I'm not sure, I suppose it will run smoother?
I don't like the idea of messing with folders, the Mod Manager is perfect for a 'tard like me!
 
Has anyone found a way to give a first person view when using horses?... I've had a poke around, but can't find anything, so unless I've missed it I assume not... would be nice though.

How do I stop the blocky effect in this picture?? It is on the surface of the water. If I just stand there and watch the water it looks as if it is floating across the surface as a plane of blocks.
Changing the reflect resolution higher or lower makes a marginal difference but they are still there.

Some of the improved clothing looks good but some of it doesn't such as one of the dresses being crosshatched, doesn't look right. I don't like the look of the fur textures either.

Changed my mind about that HD clothing one, i actually quite like it. Plus i have now downloaded the one with more dirt for certain clothes so it looks a little bit more natural.

also just updated the 2K textures as well.
