Awesome. Although it looks, from that list, that it will overwrite several other mods I have installed such as realistic water, rain drops, stars, flora, rocks etc.

Are you NeilMC that did the mods for Fallout and STALKER etc?

I did the update and then the serious HD landscapes one again so that it overwrites the ones that it needs to, as i think it is better for landscapes than the 2k pack.
 
Made a list of the mods i have installed at the moment and having played for a few hours with them had no crashes / instability ect. Seem fine together. Just use the top 100 all time from Nexus and take them from there.

So basically most of them. I just go for the main mods - things like "Realistic paper" have too little impact on gameplay. Plus, the more mods installed, the greater the risk of instability and it takes much longer to track down the problem.

Currently downloading the Skyrim HD update.
 
Best shader mod is still ENB ;) http://enbdev.com/download_en.htm

It doesn't just change the colours like the other shader mods do. Rather than simply adding or changing Skyrim's post effects, it completely replaces it. You now get better shaders (especially for skin), some sweet sky effects and a sort of fog that increases the sense of depth wherever you go (just like how artists use lighter colours and less contrast in the mid and far ground).

The most noticeable change though is colour. This one brings out the colours of all the textures. It's quite glaring at first because it makes the game much more colourful, but in reality it's more realistic and the game becomes more interesting to look at.

The new version fixed some stuff and doe's look quite good now. Wealthy people actually look wealthy in the clothing now :)

As for the Skyrim HD its just a texture replacement, you can delete anything you fear might overwrite other mods, for example I removed the water and sky textures as I have mods for them. I also removed the Whiterun and windhelm textures as it hit my performance too much in the towns but left the rest in and looks great.

Out of all the mod's i have tried i have only had one that was game-breaking and that was Vals Crafting Meltdown Alpha as it gave me nothing but CTD's within seconds of launch. The rest are mainly texture mods and as long as you know what you have installed they are fairly easy to remove (always keep a backup regardless)

Oh and the Skyrim HD update is excellent :D
 
Didn't realise that a new version of the post process injector is out. Skyrim HD has made a load of mods redundant - haven't decided whether I prefer it over them yet though.

PMSL. I'm gonna download that and walk up to EVERY NPC and say "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee" and see how they like hearing it over and over again!

I am settled for about 40 hours now with my settings:

1920*1200@ultra with shadows on high, but tweaked iBlurDeferredShadowMask value to 7, fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=10000, turned on tree and land shadows,FOV 75,turned off compass and crosshair, FXAA enabled as well as 4*MSAA, 16AF quality forced via drivers (enormous improvement - disable AF in game and enable in drivers, it is huge).

Mods:

enhanced characters (faces, bodies, lips, eyes..), better clothes textures, nightsky, road signs, enhanced smoke and fire effects, enhanced water, detailed blood, better sorting, better x360 controller mapping, enhanced distant terrain, centaur font, enhanced rain and thunder effects, removed bethesda logo

And all that covered with amazing Injector settings from here:

The game is so immersive it is insane...and with 4GB Mod, no crashes EVER, and 60fps 90% of the time too.
