The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

@ Mr Krugga and Pighardia - have tried the Realistic Lighting mod, which at default is too dark inside for me. Which of the 5 profile's Sydney given do you guys use?

I am now using (from the beta download) Normal No Bloom, which I think is best overall. Interiors are still a little on the dark side for me, but that is mainly down to the lack of actual lights in places. Shadows are much better though. I was using Fantastical No Bloom, which has better interiors imo, but outside is a little too colourful, and some might say cartoony.

It is easy to experiment with them though, as you can just keep overwriting them.

Bearing in mind I am a lover of Morrowind, would those of you that have played Skyrim say it's something I will probably like? I quite enjoyed Oblivion, but not anywhere near as much as I did Morrowind.

I LOVE Morrowind, liked Oblivion and have a love hate relationship with Skyrim. It is an awesome game, and have put so many hours into it. It's definitely worth it's price though.

Going to stop using Dovahkin Hideout as a storage area. Too many frequent updates and it just feels too rough around the edges atm. Floating/roaming mannequins are just too spooky and annoying not to mention a million storage chests & weapons holders.

I swapped over to a new house last night for this reason. The name escapes me, but it's situated on top of a waterfall.

This was it: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10901

There will be a compact version of the mod in the near future.

btw Krugga, a clean save fixed my game. It never surprises me what quirks exist in Bethesda games. All I did was clean save, quit and then load it up and it worked fine.

Agree about the quest. Took me an hour to find the target, and that was only by saving at the spot, exiting and reloading. Wish it was possible to have a navmapped house so that your partner could use it. Long way to go for that it seems.

Anyone else using Killmove+ or the alternative Epic Dual Wielding? Some of the killmoves it adds are really good. Is the sword and shield one where you jump up and impale an enemy vanilla? ...can't remember.

I finally downloaded catalyst 12.1 last week and the performance increase has been excellent. Now I can run around Markarth, Solitude etc getting no lower than 50ish. Really makes a difference.

Nexus mod manager is working again, it was showing NO DATA for most of last night and nexus was slow to access...

Just downloaded Animated Prossies lol

Skyrim HD V 1.5 problem

Could someone please tell me what Im doing wrong? I downloaded the split archive (2 X .7z files) for SKYRIM HD from the Nexus site.

Unfortunately I still have a problem. The extraction went fine without any errors and a folder called Skyrim_HD_v1_5_FULL-607-1-5.7z has been created. It is also in compressed form.

You can see the downloaded files here and the extracted folder:

SkyrimNo2.jpg

When I go to the folder and begin extraction this happens

SkyrimNo.jpg

Wonder what Im doing wrong :( My intention was to dump it into the skyrim/data folder as I did with the previous releases. I dont use any mod managers.

Thanks for any input...:)
