The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

I updated the mods and skse but now the error message in skse is:
'Please update to the latest version of skyrim'

confused:confused:

Did you definitely copy all of the SKSE files needed (skse, a .dll and the steam launcher IIRC) to the correct directory?

Looks interesting, but I already use Varied Guards and Stormcloaks which would conflict.

I might give it a go though.

I saw that mod a while ago but many users were having problems/bugs with it, so gave it a miss. Have you experienced any?

Turns out I was mistaken. This http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6770 is the mod I had seen previously. Think I might give this one a go as trying the one you linked didn't give much variation.

Does not work with three old TESV.exe.s or the two skse's one of which did previously work. What else am I missing? I t was working fine yesterday before Steam updated it and ruined it.
Cheers for any help.

Ok I wanna try out a mod manager but which is better Wyre Bash or NMM? And I think theres a 3rd one out there could someone please tell me the name of it?

Whats the best one to get? Thanks for any tips :)

extra memory

Morning all
Had my computer checked yesterday(I do it now and again) was thinking of adding more memory but the bloke in the shop said unless I was running windows 7 64bit it would not use the extra memory (I use 32bit) I thought it would run Skyrim even better than it does, is it true about the memory. Thanks

And if you have an high end GC it will take a chunk out of the 4GB for itself. Plus windows and what other backgorund junk you got running will eat into it too.

I use Varied Guards and Stormcloacks, Every City has various guards outfit TS Edition and Perfect Legionnaire.

Didn't notice them conflicting yet but I might be missing something. :)

Thanks for the replies what would I need to go up to 64bit and is it worth it for Skyrim

You need a 64bit processor. Which is pretty much any of them made in the past few years. And a copy of a 64 bit operating system of course. I think Windows 7 has 32 and 64 bit on the one disk, although I might be wrong, been a while since I've done an install.

Bear in mind though that this means wiping your hard drive and doing a clean install of Windows. You might be able to do an upgrade, but it'll cause you problems down the line, always better to do a clean install.
