The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

I am having problems with some mods not working properly.
For example, I have apacheskyhair installed but it is not appearing in the npc editor.
Anybody have any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
 
Starting again and trying a few little mods out :)

Not sure how much protection i am gonna get in a thong, but its easy on the eyes :D

Great mod imo and makes a big difference to lots of items.

also, another good texture mod for ground textures. Looks better than the ones that come with the 2k pack. Just make sure to install this last if you are manually installing them, so it will overwrite them.

These mods, combined with the 2k pack posted above should make little difference to your fps. Especially with a 2gb card. Plays fine for me and I'm using a GTX280.

Thanks guys. I think i wasted time with the official HD mod, but i assume the ones you've linked overwrite it. Working on that list now :)
Edit - already have SkyUI + Better Sorting after reading through PC Gamer. Will get Tytanis but probably for my second play through. For now, SkyUI, BS and Graphics Mods should be awesome :)
 
Most of the 'amazing' screen shots use higher settings, more mods and usually a replacement d3d9.dll to add post effects and altered lighting. Because of this they also run at relatively crappy frame rates.

Unless you use something like Realistic Lighting with your own config. And Dynavision plus Imaginator to tweak it.
 
just reinstalled skyrim on my new pc, so looking to get some good mods now.

Any reccomendations on what mods to get to start out ? im not to bothered about graphic improvements, it looks nice enough. More gameplay wise, extra stuff to do/get, armour, weapons etc im after.
