The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

I'll post some good recent mods from my channel, worth having/checking out:

Immersive Fist Person View

Dynamic Vampire Appearance

Inigo

Colorful Magic

Tropical Skyrim

Forgotten Magic

Immersive Weapons

Loads more on the channel, but these are a few good ones :)

Installed 40 mods and started playing Skyrim for the 1st time! Thanks for the links in OP. I'm just wondering, now that I need to run skse_loader instead of the Skyrim launcher, what's the best way to run it through steam? Do I have to add it as a non-steam game or?

This just "worked" for me.
Neither NNM or SKSE show me the standard Skyrim launcher on launch, but they both show me as playing Skyrim in Steam.

Just checked out that immersive FP mod: it is amazing, and really customisable too! Fixes nearly everything I don't like about vanilla FP.

Yes I'm using NMM, but I just want to launch the game via the Steam games list, as that's where all my games are even non steam games. The problem with adding it as a non-steam game is Skyrim will show up twice :P and my OCD kicks in! haha. I hope there is a way to maybe change where steam launches Skyrim from, i.e. the skse loader.

I worked out how to do this, for anyone interested:

1. Rename SkyrimLauncher.exe to SkyrimLauncherOriginal.exe (or anything you want)

2. Rename skse_loader to SkyrimLauncher.exe

Feel free to add this to OP.

I like to keep people informed and updated with mods that catch my eye :), so i checked out the fist person mod thats been recommended and yes i double checked it by running around the dungeon looking down a lot :D

3rd person view is great from behind

First person view is even better, and yes with a TBBP enabled body and armour like in I love cleavage CBBE http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29827/? they also jiggle and bounce around :D

This mod just works out of the box and should be on the recommend list of mods for people who like to look down a lot :p

The almighty ebony strap on!

This is also a great WIP mod, SkyWind, basically Morrowind re-created in the Skyrim engine.

I live streamed the latest version a few hours ago, starting to take shape!

Is it really playable yet though? From what I can gather, there aren't any missions or dungeons yet are there? I don't want to install it until its finished but will it ever really be finished?

So who's still following STEP? I spent about 10 hours doing it all, then seemed to fizzle out of skyrim after about 50 hours playthough and obviously now my game won't load so I've loaded it all from fresh. Really can't be bothered to do all of STEP. Is there a completed STEP build anywhere I can just download and put into the data folder?

i dont tihnk you can get an all in one?

Step is just a community that puts together the best of the mods available and tells you how to install them...

Yeah it's just hours and hours of work. Does STEP now require that you have all the DLC? There are a few core mods that seem to require them, but I'm not forking out £26 for two DLC that I don't really want to play anyway.

Depends if the version of the mod you want has a version for just the core game...

I have always had the DLC so always just install the patches that go with each mod..
