The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered - MODS & TWEAKS

Where is it crashing? Do what I do, put on one mod at a time, load the game the restart and repeat.

I've removed all my old mods and going with Ultimate Immersion's setup:

I'm ~82 hours into a 'no fast travel' game. I'm in no hurry to start over ha.

Next time I'll follow a proper guide again.

Anyone know of any mods that make Hearthfire home building more interesting? I really wish Skyrim had Fallout 4's settlment building. THAT would be awesome!

Anyone know why in my hearthfire house, only some lights work? I see the flame on the goat horn candles and chandeliers, but no light being shone onto the wall. Yet, in the next room, they do. Other than 'Torches cast shadows', a reshade/ENB, and Vivid Weather, I have no lighting mods installed.

The lights at the entrance are working:

But in the main rooms, they're not:

I seem to remember there being a limit to how many light sources there can be in a cell, but there aren't loads of candles...

I loved the uncapper in Skyrim. Allowing my skills to go to 200 (what I set the cap to) was great fun. I had 1000+ damage bows. Obviously, it's game brakingly powerful, but it's fun once you've beaten the game.

I too have a couple of issues that I think are related to SFO:

Wrong Tree LOD being reflected:

And a weird, unmatched snow texture on the roads:

Level cap is 81 right? I'm currently level 11, which has given me 15 points I think? Due to ordinator extra perk every other level.

I'm feeling powerful enough but certainly struggling on where to spend the points! It's almost too many.

Just started playing this after never finishing the original non special edition and thought I'd drop a few mods in with NMM. However quite a lot of them cause the game to simply not launch, I get the launcher and then when I click play it just closes and that's it.

Not trying to mod it to death with big graphics or complete gameplay change stuff as I want to play pretty much vanilla, so only wanting to run 4 or 5 like the 'highlight unread books' mod but the game simply won't launch with it enabled, I've tried multiple things to try and fix but nothing has worked so far.

Any ideas anyone?

Not had any do this apart from some of the original mods from the non-se version which can do that

Yeah I though that myself but they are definitely from the SE section of Nexus, all I've got running so far is the dot crosshair and better map mods which work fine, nothing else I've tried works at all and its 100% related to the mods as as soon as I disable them everything works fine.

Shame but hey-ho no biggy.

I followed the SEPTIM guide and have been playing a 'no fast travel' game through with an Archer Thief. Not played since ages ago and am usually a Mage type character.

I paid the £3 for a months Nexus premium and it made the whole process easy (d/l speeds are painful on free version).

Looks stunning and still feels like a current game. <3

I always like having magic in these games though and even if I start as an archer I always end up getting magic skills. Don't know why as magic is pretty pants in Skyrim without a rebalancing mod.

Maybe I should do a Stealth Archer/Thief build and stick to it one of these days.

Same here, no fast travel, playing a illusion/archer/dagger thief, loving it! Calm and fury are just too much fun, using ordinator skills so at 40 illusion I can cast silently. When I can, will be even more fun, making everything kill it's self.

Although, archer is taking a bit too much of my focus as it's easier. Need to stop it before I rely on the bow too much and over skill it.

Oh, there is nothing more fun than using the perk in Ordinator that when you calm an enemy, you can trade with them!!!

*Bandit chief charging for you*
*Casually cast calm on him*
"Hey there, be careful with magic friend"
.... *begin trade* lol

So much fun.

Would that help even if it was the only mod installed?

Nope it worn't.
if i was you i would uninstall NMM, remove special edition, delete save folder in my documents and reinstall it fresh and run it stock to rules out any other causes first.get through prologue and create a character and get to first town and save and then start modding

So whilst the DOF effect in ENBs looks great, and far better than the built in DOF of SSE, it is simply too taxing. When walking uphill the DOF effect incurred by looking towards the ground rather than the horizon is taking a large chunk of my FPS.

So I've disabled the DOF in the ENB, and renabled the game's built in DOF. Is there any way to make the effect stronger so I can find a middle ground between the two? I have to admit, although it's to everyones' tastes, but I do like the blur effect when focusing in on close objects.
