I wonder whether Gakpo is playing as an 8 with Elliott on the right. Gakpo's played in midfield a fair few times before and Elliott's a more natural choice on the right than either Gakpo or Diaz. It could be a bit 4-2-3-1 with Jones sitting next to Mac Allister too and then Gakpo off Nunez.

Liverpool are without Van Dijk, Endo, Szobo and Salah. That’s pretty much a spine.

I think this is an important match for us, first game without Salah this month so this will be a psychological marker to prove that we can get the results this month without Salah to keep in the title race
