nah i never expected us to win it, i just wanted to see a title decider played when we went to stamford bridge, would have been amazing to watch

And i'm certainly not one to live in the past, and nor do i expect to walk over everyone. We have no hunger anymore, if anything the players expect to walk over everyone which is why we dont and why when we dont, they go into a strop and go on a bad run.

Until we get that hunger and passion back in the team that we had in 90's we're not going to win anything

Just annoys me that man utd, arsenal built up there teams and won their titles while as chelsea get given a huge wad of cash, buy an almost whole new team then walk the title 2 years running. Bitter, yes, jealous, only of the money thats available to them.

So no i didnt expect to win anything this year, carling cup a few years ago for us would have been laughed at and probably kept in a draw at OT. but now its pretty much all we're gonna have a chance of winning unless we can get consistent (no a run of 7 matches towards the end of a season where we having nothing to lose isnt consistent before anyone jumps on my back) throughout the season and play like we want to win something

Ha, how much did the players cost against sunderland, I can count 4 costing £80 Million+, I love the fact Man u fans forget about this, so what Chelsea paid so much in 1/2 seasons, money doesnt buy you trophies, just look at the Italian teams and Real Madrid.

Manchester United, the arrogrance lives on still.

absolute turd

if your russian friend would have brought another club, you'd still be fighting for a champions league spot (3rd 4th with the odd 2nd tops) and you know it so dont give me that

The truth hurts.

I'd wish abramovich bought Man U, I'd love to of seen the fans smug faces.

We all know no team can dominate for more than 10 years, its Chelseas turn to have some fun.

Well I went to the everton v spurs game and we (everton) deserved the result I think, we missed arteta in the middle and just couldnt put anything away, so credit to spurs.

Very pleased to see Accrinton Stanley premoted though, Im good friends with the manager and a number of the players there and know how much hard work there has been this season, well done boys. :D

What a goal from Hleb. I love that guy. You guys see his celebration? Think he was taking the mickey out of himself because he said that thing the other day about women always coming up to him and asking for his autograph, then he said 'Nah, just joking.' :D

Bergkam's goal was just typical Bergkamp. Rolled back the years and really he won us the game tbh.

Agreed about Accrington, 40 years since they were in the league isn't it?

@Steedie, I wasn't having a go, just that I had been having a few drinks with some Utd fans I know, and they always throw in past events.

Chelsea are lucky to have the cash to be able to buy so many players, but that's the game.

Some could say Utd were lucky to get that amount of homegrown, quality young players in their prime(Debatable I know)

As a fan of a lower league club, I don't really care who wins, but to have so many strong clubs in contention(Premiership is quality, by far the most exciting league) can only be good for the english game.

Fitting end to the day to see DB10 score. Fairly poor game, in which we really should have put to bed before we did. Curtis Davies impressed me, and I wouldn't be upset to see Wenger go after him in the summer. Always great to see Super Kev back at his true home, a true Gooner. Great to see the applause he gave and recieved.
Thank you Dennis Bergkamp for joining Arsenal, one of the greatest players to ever grace the turf at the Arsenal Stadium and it will be a fitting tribute to him to have 40000 see him at Ashburton grove.
We will need to play better on Wednesday night to get the result we need to take to Spain.

Not sure what game you were watching? I was there too (in the away end) and Everton were lucky not to have lost 0-3 plus. I don't recall you really having a shot on goal.

Oh the irony!

Lets have a look at prem titles won before Roman took over:
0
Prem titles since Roman's 3 season quarter of billion pound investment
2
Hmmmmmmm.

You are right, i cant see a direct correlation between money spent and titles won either.
