The end of laughter and soft lies (Bumper Easter Weekend Footy Spoilers)

Derby Day!

Cant wait for tomorrow!
Posting this now as we have an early start in the morning - 8am in the boozer for drinks , bacon sarnies and "female entertainment".
Magic.

3600 Newcastle fans making their way into sunderland is a sight to behold.
The club has put on free busses from St James Park for around 2000 fans and there are also countless unofficial busses.
The police then close off a lane of the A19 and park up all the busses on it until the green light to go in.
All the roads are closed going in so its just a line of dozens of coaches snaking their way to the stadium.

As well as the locals who sit in the trees playing banjos , there are also locals who can walk unassisted and they stare at the busses making 2-1 gestures with their fingers.
They beat us 2-1 , 8 years ago.

We have a couple of injuries from saturdays game , the much improved duo of Bowyer and Ameobi are big doubts as is wor kieran who played 75 minutes on saturday which means he will probably miss the next three games

Bring it on!
We have never lost at the stadium of light and im super confident of a win for the just and righteous black and white cause.
It may be sometime until we go back there again , wait , I feel another song coming on...

We'll meet again,
Don't know where,
Don't know when,
But I know
We'll meet again
Some sunny day

To plagiarise KK "I would love it if we beat them".

It looks like Ledley is out for the rest of the season and Gardner looks like a doubt for today's match against Man Utd.

That leaves a choice of Davenport (rubbish), Huddlestone (inexperienced) or Naybet (slow) to partner Dawson. :(

Ledley King has suffered a stress fracture to the fourth metatarsal of his left foot. Early indications are that his recovery will take three to four weeks.

Gutting :(

Bit of a predicament for who should partner Dawson, idealy you'd want someone with pace to compliment Daws aerial ability. Naybet I think is past it though is very experienced, I'd like to see Davenport or Huddlestone given a shot but they're both very similar to Dawson and both lacking first team experience for us!

I feel one of those two will be chosen though, probably Davenport as he came on as a sub against Everton. Though I wouldn't discount Hud coming on as a sub.

I still feel even with a weakened defense this fixture could go either way, oh well we'll see in 2 hours time...

Come on Spurs, help make it a Blue day:)
