At least batting first we don't have to follow on...
TBH I prefer how we play nowadays, playing to win or lose rather than just playing not to lose. Makes it far more entertaining.
Edit: Am finding this most entertaining as it happens, shame my Aussie mate is asleep at the mo, just missing a bit of sledging.

This is a 500+ pitch Smith and co will bat for 2 days and leave us struggling to save the game. Players getting in and then getting out is killing this innings.
Even if that happens I much prefer the way we play nowadays, it is fun to watch
Indeed, if this was in the past we'd have been all out by 200 probably.
It is a much better spectacle I just wish we could iron out the utter aberrations like stokes shot and Ali’s dancing down the wicket. They were both so needless I get they want to be aggressive but the ball to stokes was so wide so early in his innings it wasn’t worth the risk and Ali was half way down the pitch he might has well have just told Lyon he was comming!
