2 good 50s there, running successfully again and keeping that run rate up. as i said yesterday they'll be aiming for a 200 lead by lunch and then possibly make a decision there. I don't think they'll be wasting any time in the game by losing the ten minutes doing it prior to that or after it, so suspect it'll come at lunch.

Lunch makes sense, although we'll need to go some to get 200 ahead before then.

raining then, will they come off?
If they've not come off, it suggests that the radar says the shower will pass pretty fast so it's not worth it

Saturday looks an absolute write-off. It looks like there may well be play Sunday afternoon.

The fact that we aren't going all out suggests we aren't planning to declare any time in the next hour of play. Bairstow just left one that barely missed the stumps...

Which all totally baffles me. Unless England have a weather forecast that is very favourable, and they are very confident in.

Aussies are just playing waiting to be put out of their misery and put in to bat here which is rather un-Australian!

I'd be worried about their mentality when they do come in to bat cos it all feels very negative and just wait for the weather to save them right now. Have they got stuck in a too negative mindset, plenty of time today to rattle a few out.

We're not going all out, but we're still pushing along quickly. It's not exactly bad!

Pushing too hard can easily backfire; you can start to go too hard at the ball, lose your head, and score more slowly and/or get out.

I can only assume a lunchtime declaration. The ball is absolutely hooping, let's get them in and see what our bowlers can do in these conditions - they're ideal for us.

Edit: Looks like Bairstow is pretty desperate to hit 50 this over!

Yep, ball all over the show and they will be absolutely demoralised after this morning. Get them in and get at them. Good over to get the score close to that magic 200. just 2 wickets left it's pointless coming back out to try to eek out 20 more runs.
