I'd like to see Curran on against Kohli, with Bairstow standing up to him for an over or two. Might cost a few byes, but it would force Kohli back into his crease.
 
2nd test starts today. However, I think it’s got draw written all over it as there’s just too much rain about over London over the next five days. However, if England can get that ball swinging under the cloud, then they could rip through India a bit lively. I’d definitely bowl first in today’s conditions. Jimmy and Curran could get the new ball going all over the shop.
 
I think you're underestimating how much the pitch will deteriorate. Lords is always bat first, chasing a 2nd innings total of 200+ is always a nightmare
 
Complete washout :(

4 day test and tomorrow’s looking dodgy too. Deffo bat first now. May get to the point where there’s not enough time to score the runs needed in the fourth innings, but there’s always time to take the wickets.

All panicking on betfair, they’ve put thousands on the draw, only to see a wicket go first over. Nerves going already.
