The problem is one of legitimacy, as a voter I'm undecided on whether to vote leave or stay, I don't have the time to research all the facts.

In my mind, the only way I can come to a coherent decision on which side to vote for, is to try and figure out which campaign is the most legitimate, and is running with the most trustworthy figures.

Driving around with drastically misleading figures on the side of a bus, is not the same as you misinterpreting what DC said.

But would you then band that figure about as a potential saving? Since you got £300 of necessities which still need funding.

£350 million a week is not what we pay

The claim that the UK sends £350 million per week to the EU is wrong.

The size of the payment varies from year to year.

It was as high as £14.5 billion (£278 million per week) in 2013, and as low as £8.7 billion (£168 million per week) in 2009, according to the official EU Finances report published by HM Treasury.
