I got my may 5th postal vote 3 weeks after the election :$
I posted mine back 10 days ago. I'd ring them as it's probably lost.

Eddie Izzard is a very annoying individual. He probably did a good job of turning 'normal' people off the Remain campaign last night with his odd ranting.
What's it in relation to or otherwise what's her point? MPs may overrule the people they represent by blocking the legislation to leave the EU. My MP is supporting Brexit, if I vote for remain am I overruling my MP by voting to remain?
MP's are not leaders, they are representatives.
Precisely. You vote an MP in for their range of views as a whole not on one issue (though i suppose UKIP beg to differ).

But in a referendum MP's are explicitly asking the voters to make a decision on a single issue. They can't then ignore the result if they don't like the answer.
The look on his face when the audience were having none of it. You could tell he was thinking “hold on, I’m spouting lefty platitudes, why aren’t they clapping like sea lions?”Eddie Izzard is a very annoying individual. The thing that annoys me more than anything is that the main reasons people want to leave is that they want 'control of our borders' and they don't want to have to abide by rules 'imposed by the EU'...
I think someone needs to explain what a referendum is to her...
