Gotta love all these Celebrities,Clarkson,May,Geldof,And the latest David beckam telling us we should stay in.

These guys dont live in the real world and have not for some time,They have the money to do everything,They dont struggle, so they REALLY do not see why a lot of the average working man want out now.

A downturn in the economy is going to hurt the average working man a lot more than it will hurt them, that's true. All the more reason to vote remain.

I'm sorry to pop ya bubble but at no point does it say the NHS will get 350m a week extra, it compares what 350m could get you but makes no promise the NHS will get all the money. Think you need to read it again

I would copy and paste but can't. Prime example is page 4, you have a look and tell me what message that sends.

Nadine Dorries was having a pop at David Beckham earlier for daring to voice his opinion. I thought that the Conservatives were behind working class people who work hard and do well in life as a result?

I am definitely not on steroids lol.

Well it might be the 'facts' they believe in, but if I believe the sky is brown it doesn't make it a fact or correct.

I don't have an opinion on what you believe tbh. That's your prerogative. I'm not going to shout you down or anything.

Though the lefty's here will demand you post a link so it's proof it's not just your opinion. Lol.

"We send 60 times as much to the EU than we spend on cancer drugs" not sure it could be any more clear, its a fact!

At no point does it say "if we leave that money we send to the Eu will go on cancer drugs" which is what your trying to say it said which it does not

You carefully ignored the half page big picture of a hospital with the NHS logo on the right hand side and the big red letters at the bottom that say 'we should spend our money on priorities like the NHS not the EU'

If Scotland will vote to leave Britain if we vote out, I question whether they should have a vote to stay in the uk?

We won't get to vote on whether Scotland stay in the uk will we?

"

It seems to make it quite clear that's what they are getting at though, when right underneath that fact they write:
"We should spend our money on our priorities like the NHS not the EU."

Nadine Dorries said:
So, multi millionaire, multi home owning man who can kick a ball supports remain. It's become a division of the classes.

:D:D:D

Id love to see beckam try and support his family on minimum wage doing 35-40 hours,While keeping the rent paid..also like to see his kids try and get a regular job, their own place etc..he would then realize just how hard it really has become.

They should be more honest...

"We should spend our money on our priorities like the NHS not the EU. We won't, but we should!"

Not at all, we could spend our money on things like the NHS that is also a FACT!

Your ignoring the FACT at no point does it say we will spend all that money on the NHS or Cancer Drugs,

Your jumping to that without anyone saying it, your making that leap not the document....anyone that can read it, can see it does not say what you claim it does.

Out of interest, has anyone thought about what will happen with Ireland if we vote to leave?

As I understand it, the open border between Ireland/N. Ireland has been quite integral in contributing positively to the peace process. Assuming we leave and enact the closed borders that many people who wish to leave seem to promote, does that mean closing the border with Ireland?
If so, has anyone thought about the impact this might have on our relation with Ireland, and the lives of the population?
If not, we're still going to have an open land border with the EU...how do those that favour more stringent border controls feel about this?

Our loss of sovereignty is enshrined within the very European Communities Act 1972 itself and supported by subsequent case law:
Which Parliament could repeal at any time if it really became an issue.

Here's someone who actually knows what he's talking about, a specialist in EU constitutional law who has advised the Cabinet Office, Parliamentary committees, the BBC on EU legal issues.
For anyone voting - this is the best independent, expert opinion I've heard in the whole debate.

The bit on sovereignty is from 3.20, if you're too lazy to listen to the whole thing;

https://www.facebook.com/UniversityofLiverpool/videos/1293361974024537/?pnref=story

Britain is a Sovereign state, Parliament is the ultimate law making authority in the UK.
The EU is not a sovereign entity, never mind a Sovereign state.

No but it's written precisely so people do jump to that conclusion. It's dishonest at best.

So when should I buy Euro's for my Italian trip in a month :)?

Seems quite high at the moment due to markets hoping we remain?
Its going to tank quite badly if we leave?

I would give it until about next Tuesday,Wednesday. Whatever happens the markets will bounce back by then ;)

Most people seem to agree that this would be A Bad Thing. There was a Guardian article a few weeks ago which pointed out that some of the border roads weave back and forwards across the border, so you'd either have to have multiple checkpoints within a few miles or you'd have to scrap it and build new roads on each side.

There was also some vague talk about requiring some agreements in the peace-deal needing to be re-written and re-approved, but I don't remember hearing specifics.

Enda Kelly (the Taoiseach) wrote an article about it here.

No, but it does claim we send £20b a year to the EU, based on a figure of £350m a week which has been discussed many times as being incorrect.

If it was dishonest it would be a lie, its not a lie...what i think you mean is its misleading, but even then that would be a stretch as it at no point says all the money could go on the NHS, it states " We should spend out money on our priorities LIKE the NHS not the EU...

If the LIKE was ONLY then i would get your point but as its a Like it implies we have more than the NHS as a priority, which we do
