Don't think so, David Beckham saying we should Remain was though. I love a fair referendum.

:) Don't we all.

I'm sure come Friday the Brussels Broadcasting Corporation will make this story more prominent along with the Swiss Parliament voting to withdraw its application to join the EU and the Dutch public wanting a UK style referendum on whether to remain in the EU. :p

I have been reading up about the EU because of tomorrows Referendum.

A few things seem apparent, possibly coincidence, or perhaps just food for thought.

This is a general outline.
- The Euro as a currency is too weak for Germany, thus they have strong exports. I.e. lots of money.
- The Euro as a currency is too strong for countries in Southern Europe, they have poor exports. They now have huge debt. Particularly Greece.
- The largest creditors for Greece are Germany.

- Germany are now buying up Greek infrastructure.

What happens when Germany decides to call in their debt with Portugal, Italy, Spain, Turkey, etc, over the next 50 years?

Have I been watching too much Bond? Or does Merkel have a big fluffy white cat? :)

No, not too much Bond :p

Just proof that "Project EU" isn't working as well as others think it does, or others would like us to believe. It clearly isn't as fair to all its members as the EU would portray.

But fear not, if we Remain we can change all this through reform!! :p

All the rhetoric about "being better off and stronger together" falls pretty flat when you look at the misery being inflicted on the Greeks and the young unemployed in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

ZE GERMANS ARE COMING!!

But on a serious note it is Germany's show. Amount of military and infrastructure contracts they received from countries such as Greece, Spain, etc.

Always amazed me why so much money was spent on 4 lane motorways/airports/etc. all over the EU that are not even being used...

Yeah, I think most people knew that. However, regardless of what it says in the bill, Cameron has made it very clear that a vote to Leave would result in the triggering of article 50. If anything else happened there would be widespread mutiny in the house of commons.

I'm not so sure. If the result is close, say 52% out and 48% remain. Perhaps you'd get the SNP and Plaid Cymru saying that the majority of the Scottish and Welsh wanted to stay (perhaps say 70%) and that they couldn't in all conscience vote for a repeal of the European Communities Act. Then you get Labour MPs who say that the majority of Labour supporters voted to stay, it could soon escalate to enough MPs to defeat any commons repeal bill.

It does, and although not reported on as much, it's still going on and not getting any better for them.

Greece currently owes €300bn  roughly 180% of its GDP!

Yes I imagine families are going to go like they did in the miners strike and have people not talk to each other for years.
I've already had it with my cousin who has not spoke to me since he discovered I would vote Out.
There is also widespread belief we're going to see public disorder on a grand scale this weekend.

I also said 3\4 days ago that i would not be surprised if there is public disorder following the result, whatever that result is.

I'm extremely confident this won't happen. It would be extraordinarily damaging to the Labour party to do anything other than support the express will of the British people.

In any Cameron doesn't need the commons to leave the EU; triggering Article 50 would simply take the executive to choose to do so, and once that is triggered we're on a one-way ride to splitsville. Trouble in the commons would merely make the unravelling of our systems from the EU more complex and difficult.

If true & legit, this certainly won't be broadcast on any major UK news outlets.

You guys say this every time, and every time a link is posted to prove you wrong...don't you get bored of being proved wrong every time :p

And before you say post the link now, if you google you will see it only started hitting the news sites about 40 mins ago...
