Gove is looking like he doesn't even understand how an interview works, it would help if he could address the arguments instead of trying to battle Faisal.

His contempt for expert knowledge is astounding; what's his brilliant alternative to listening to people who know what they're talking about?

He was an idjit as Education Minister and he is no better on the EU debate.

I find it fascinating how the Leave campaign has a host of solidly establishment figures - e.g. Eton and London educated former London Mayor Boris Johnson, and former News Editor for The Times, Lord High Chancellor Michael Gove - trying to present themselves as anti-establishment figures.

:D Yep the remain and it's big banks. Haha hypocritical muppets bet a fair few of the ones screaming for Bankers heads are backing Britian Stronger, laughable.

No it doesn't. Fear threatens ignorance and agendas. Tell people often it enough that it cannot be done and they will believe it. Britain is a demoralised nation.

Britain is fine, the whole Western World has morale issues, we've been through a financial crisis that caught us with our pants down and lead to the rise of Nationalism/Nativism, which manifest differently in each country (Brexit here).

So I make a post, one of the key themes of which was criticising ill thought out rhetoric which does little more than question the sanity of anyone who opposes it and you proceed to quote me and do the exact same thing :p

When the whole world (minus Trump and Putin) tells you 'Don't do this, it's a bad idea', when every reputable financial institution tells you the same thing along with 90% of experts, scientists, artists, describing Remain as the sanity position is not ill thought out rhetoric.

Can I have the lottery numbers for this evening please?

People will make the right choice for them - that doesn't mean they'll vote the way you want.

If you look at history, you will notice that in developed countries having popular support to push ideas through is insufficient. Support from intellectuals, elites etc. is required and in this case that is all but inexistent.

Gove's a very good speaker isn't he? I think he's repeatedly talking from a brown orifice and almost everything he's said is either wrong, dishonest or both but I still think he's coming across very well. He seems calm, measured and thoughtful.

He's doing his chances of being our next PM no harm at all.

Great tweet from Robert Preston: "The Gover says outside the EU a Tory government can show its true socialist colours by bailing out failing companies and industries" - it's extraordinary how left wing his post-Brexit vision seems to be. More money for the NHS! Money to bail out struggling industries!

Some people will say anything for money and power.....

Right, time to catch up on Cameron's performance last night. I have a feeling this is going to be utterly horribly viewing. The worst thing about being on the Remain side is having to be on the same side as the deadpigmeister.

I think the main difference between Gove tonight and Cameron last night is that you can really tell that Gove believes in what he's saying - admittedly not so much when he's talking about saving steel jobs in Por'Talbot, but definitely so when talking about the EU and Britain taking back control.

in the event of an Out vote, will Cameron & Osbourne /quit straight away?
surely it would not be in the countries best interest to have them stay 1 day longer after an out vote?

Depends we dont ask politicians to wuit every time something they suport doesnt get voted through do we?

Wuestion will be how long before we issue our two years notice.

I can see that being out off till after the next GE

Gove did so much better than Dave. Although he didn't have to deal with an audience that just didn't like him like Dave did!

examples?

Cause the only one i can think of ended up with the intellectuals being the first against the wall.

They're under no obligation to step down. I agree it's difficult to see how Cameron could continue as PM and lead us out of the EU in that eventuality. It's also difficult to see how Osborne could win a Conservative leadership election if we vote to Leave.

I don't think they will, but the men in grey suits will be round to make sure they're gone very soon. If they don't I expect a vote of no confidence; such is the fury within the Tory party. I don't believe Cameron will see out the year even if we Remain.
