They'll come all right, by any means they can find. What we need is a way to stop the undesirable ones. They are encamped in Calais, making constant illegal attempts to breach border control, they care not if they are wanted or not, many smell money, criminal activity with little redress, and an easy life at our expense.

People you are describing will try to come no matter whether UK is in the EU or out. As long as the living standard is higher here then where they from they will risk it.

Don't forget all the immigrants we have to refuse from other non EU countries because the quota is top heavy from EU countries.

There is no requirement to refuse people from non-EU countries; this is Tory party policy. Don't blame the EU for Theresa May!

Nope. Outside the EU we can categorically control our border. Use the navy to sink any boat that refuses to turn back. After a few have been sunk the rest will give up.

Any illegals caught on UK soil can be detained in camps, processed and then sent back to wherever they came from (or dumped in the middle of the desert if they refuse to say).

Leave have no plan. Leave states a plan. Leave can't set a plan because they have no power. Do you see the problem here?

Yes. And it's exactly the argument I've been making in the last few threads: what happens after Brexit is completely uncertain and the people who want to Leave are very likely - with the possible exception of Boris - not to be the people who get to decide what happens next.

You're living in cloud Cuculus canorus land if you think any of that would ever come to pass.

****?

Edit: why is a type of bird censored?

This is the policy pursued in much of the Far east. Indonesia, for example, just lets the migrant boats float around in the ocean (until they die). They don't care.

We owe the migrants nothing, and have no duty to protect or give them shelter.

Still undecided but there's no option for that :(

I'm still trying to get my head around the pros and cons for either option and i can't make my mind up, on the one hand, i'd like us to control our borders and keep our NHS exclusive to us. On the other hand, i like the freedom we have within Europe. I'm also a bit worried that we'll be venturing into the unknown if we leave. I just can't make my mind up and i don't have the time to sit and read about it either.

Freedom is Freedom. It has to be seized! Inevitably there will be a transition period but that is the price paid for getting back Sovereignty and freedom for our country!

Fearing what might happen if we leave is NOT a reason to vote to remain. It would be the equivalent of a slave fearing what might happen when he is free, so opting to remain a slave instead.

You sound like Braveheart :D

Undecided is a chicken way out. Like being a libdem.

Everyone should be made by law to vote in this referendum.

Yes include the people that know, the idiots that think they do and the people who know they dont know enough

Also you shouldntvote for only the parties you think could win, you vote for those who align with your views. Politicians will see the opportunity to change their views to snatch up voters such as yourself next time.

This is too important to mess up by making everyone take part. This is not a PE lesson in school and tbh, it shouldn't have been left to the general public anyway.

Just because we all need to live by the decision, doesn't mean we should all make it. When i go round and cook for my niece and nephew, i dont let them have a vote on what we are eating because by the end of the week all of us would have diabetes.

You are literately everything that is wrong with democracy

So what you're saying is the general public are like children who need the grown ups to make their decisions for them?

I take it you wish to leave NATO, the UN and the IMF then?

We are a member of an international community, which is heavily focused around global free trade and, for better or for worse, neoliberalism. To leave the EU at this stage in our economic history would be like Turkey's voting for Christmas.

I think you are best left to watching re-runs of Braveheart.
