Interesting as well that the deal between Three and 02 will need to be cleared by Brussels, with the UK not allowed to make the decision that essentially only impacts people in the UK.

Three operate across Europe and Telefonica, O2's parent company, do too. This deal may only cover the UK (for now) but it's of interest to the whole of Europe.

02 only operate in the UK, and will no longer have anything to do with Telefonica post the deal, so I don't think the Telefonica angle counts for much. You're right in that Three operate across Europe but this deal will impact UK consumers the most by a long way, given it's about how competitive (or not) the UK market will be if you go from 4 major operators to 3. It's being publicly challenged by the UK regulator yet the ultimate decision making power rests with Brussels. It's just another example of how our ability to decide on issues that predominantly affect us has been given away to Brussels.

Does anyone know where to find the position of the UK newspapers on the referendum? Clearly there are obvious ones like the Guardian (in) and the Mail/Express (out) but interested to know whether the likes of the Times/Telegraph and others have declared which side yet.

Shoot the message, not the messenger! :D

The message is scaremongering and based on assumption rather than fact. I quite like how it mentioned that a company tried to sue the Australian tax payer but then neglects to mention that it failed.

Some of the views in the article are of course based on the authors opinion, but the facts are very real around TTIP, and what it could mean for the NHS. If you want a view from others see a few articles below:

What we really know about TTIP is that it is an economically and politically sensitive trade deal. When it is finalised it becomes public and then needs to be ratified by all member states.

Until then everything else is speculation and assumption. But if you want to use TTIP as a reason to leave then what makes you believe that a UK/US deal will be any better? Especially as it won't have to be ratified by so many other European nations?

11 year old lad just sexually assaulted whilst playing football in the park in broad daylight by a foreign assailant in my town.

So cultural enriched.
