It's only going to ramp up as the weather gets better. The great of exodus of 2015 is going to repeat itself every year until something drastic is done. I think Germany are predicting 3.6Mil more people this year so it will likely be higher.

Assuming they get through the joke of a border, what are we going to do with all those people?

This was on Question Time that they couldn't answer except the political party line followed by it's our duty. As people in the audience said, where are they all going to go? None of them wanted to answer it except with flannel.

(cough) Nangpa La shooting incident (cough)

Loads more but it's double bacon sandwich time hmmmmmmm

1. That was during wartime.
2. They weren't refugees being killed by the country they were seeking refuge in.
3. It was 66 years ago.

Now, none of those things lessen the impact of that massacre, but it's hardly relevant.

Texas and Arizona have Stand Your Ground laws.

So a few rednecks take the law into their own hands, misusing a self-defence statute for sporting murder as they go, makes it suddenly the stance of the American and Mexican governments and their law enforcement officers regarding refugees, and is somehow related to the Syrian crisis? Right...

Furthermore, the law they clutch on to for cover is under review in Texas, the USA and the UN. But even under the rather vague implementation of the castle doctrine as it stands, you still have to prove self-defence beyond reasonable doubt.

The vigilante case may take a while do dismantle in the court of law, but they won't be treated any different to any other murderer afterwards, whatever their 'reckonings' were.

Official policy was never mentioned in the exchange:
Don't forget the farmers have a right to shoot anyone that trespasses their land.
No. They don't.
Texas and Arizona have Stand Your Ground laws.

Stand your ground laws don't allow you to just kill anyone that's on your land though
A point often missed by the admirers of white-supremacist thuggery. :o

True, but it makes it very easy to do just that.

Doesn't mean they do. Because some do, doesn't make it not murder nor gives them the right to it. That it is also not the country's policy or can be construed as such, goes without saying. No-one has the right to fire at and kill refugees under international law.

It has already been explained to you that the comment was specifically in response to land owners and trespassers, not US policy and refugees.

Now stop being a weasel.

it is illegal for the boarder control to kill the illegals.

but you just used the border agency having assault rifles as proof they shot illegals trying to cross regularly?

now you're saying its illegal?

so you're saying America has roving gangs of murderers hunting down and murdering illegal immigrants along the border?

They was lucky. Some countries would have shoot the lot. Yes I did read but you don't like my answer...tough.

USA\Mexico them kind of places.

Next time you got to the US\Texas go to the boarder fence and watch ;)
The Texas farmers have to protect themselves. And why do you think they give the boarder agency assault rifles?

Farmers find dead bodies a lot of the time. It is illegal for the boarder control to kill the illegals.

In short: Here's deuse-y! :D

I think they're scum and law breaking scum at that. Ramming a fence of a country they do not belong to is a criminal offence

But ramming a fence of a country you do belong to isn't a criminal offence?

WERE it's WERE, you say was in this context so often, *sigh*, if you don't want to come across as a total thicket it would help if you got to grasp with the basics of your own language.

Also it's "Some countries would have shot the lot" - Now write this out 100 times and if it's not done before sunrise, I'll cut your balls off

Edit : Just seen another post of yours

USA\Mexico them kind of places.

It's Those....USA/Mexico those kind of places.....are you really so clueless over your own language?
