And no, not everything is OK in the UK, but immigration is one of the least pressing issues. The unfounded fear of immigration is much more of a problem, and thats before we even tackle the big ones like the economy, rich-poor divide, NHS, foreign policy, climate change, etc.
I agree with you, but Rob was plane wrong to suggest it is only the left that appreciate immigration when its actually the economic right that appreciate immigration the most and the social left are not at all opposed to some forms of immigration control where it makes sense. The concerns of the social left surrounding unfounded scaremongering, fear and general xenophobia from the social right.

Rob's personal situation is irrelevant, I never bring it up or mention it. The opposite occurs, Rob continuously uses my personal situation as an attack against me.

Rob continuously makes posts that show an unfounded fear of foreigners, even when presented with evidence to the contrary. He continually spreads lies about immigrants, e.g. that "over half of Bradford are immigrants" when the real value is 17%.

Comments like that are the very definition of xenophobia. Its an irrational fear of foreigners, nothing more, nothing less.
I don't like opinions that are based on prejudice, I don't care about the posters themselves but object to the spread of lies and misinformation that feeds further unfounded hatred.
Oh I dunno that it's unfounded. We've only ever been invaded by foreigners!
Calais has a genuine problem but it is a much more complex situation than you are letting on. IF you want to discuss Calais then one first has to realize how this crisis happened in the first place.
You will also have to adept that a vast majority of the refugees in Calais are peaceful, want to be productive tax-paying law-abiding citizens, and just want to make a new home for themselves.
We ar enot about to be invaded.

Where does it dispute his claim? An immigrant is someone who has moved here from another country. Being of "Pakistani decent" doesn't make you an immigrant if your were born here.
