The Expanse

After Ep1 was prepared to give it a chance but watching Ep2, definitely not feeling the love. Books are not just under the bus, it backed over them for another go. Way too much Fillip and the Roci seems to be qualifying for radiant mission of the week. The cast come across as discontented and as for Naomi, honestly Dominique Tipper looks seriously ill and ought to be in hospital! They have destroyed her persona totally.

I'm going to keep watching, but they might just as well have called this Bandits In Space not The Expanse!

My understanding is they didn't want to make the mistake GoT made by trying to wrap everything up in too shorter time. Not every thread will be resolved.

I feel the same about the messed up WOT TV series, bye bye book lore, hello woke propaganda and left-wing politics.
 
I don't mind the adaption for TV tbh. It's not a big cast to build the books around, but Naomi really does get shouting at the TV to hurry up and get off it :) Same as Burnham, Tilly and the wife off breaking bad :)
 
Anyone else got an issue with the extra video content via xray on amazon?

Basically the first 5 episodes have an extra 5 minute scene after credits role if you press the xray button on your amazon app and go to bonus content but I can't get it to trigger. I've tried on tablet and smart TV, really frustrating me.
 
I had trouble on my TV and on the website (yeah show me the extra scenes in a window the size of a postage stamp), I ended up watching them on the prime video app on my phone.
 
i see rumours of a movie and a sequel, something to do with what rights amazon had, hence why they "ending" it with season 6 and season 7 will be a sequel ?
 
Really, disarming the missile? Sigh this better be some insane plot twist because if its some emotional crap im going to lost my **** after all the crap on discovery and now this.
 
Enjoyed this episode nice to see Inaros getting a bit of egg on his face :D. I have got that sneaking feeling there wont be enough time to wrap everything up or it will be rushed.

I appreciate the rumors of it continuing but the show already got a 2nd chance on Amazon I don't see it getting a 3rd. :(
 
Did you know there is a bonus scene for each episode in this Season? Apparently doesn't show on Smart TV's, only on Firestick or a computer (just watched them via my laptop). Pause the episode, and in the X-ray menu, choose bonus content and there is a 5 minute extra scene for the episode. Nothing ground breaking but nice to know it's there.

It's Amazon doing the sequel and movie so it's not "getting a 3rd chance"

From what I've heard, the original creators, Syfy, only gave Amazon the rights to go to six seasons and they may have also been restricted with how many episodes per season. So it's not really Amazon's fault for it possibly being short.
