Neither team deserved to loose, but thats cup finals for you, someone has too.

I didnt enjoy that game until the end of it. But Liverpool did deserve to lose today, they were shocking. I feel amazingly sorry for West Ham

Im gutted i was so close to winning £150 , i put a bet on (first one on football only a quid odds of 150-1) for west ham to win 3-2 and ashton to score, but what happens gerrard spoilt the party!!

Thing is, west ham's goals were pretty jammy, so liverpool did well to forget how jammy west ham were and fight back.

As an aside Reo coker has to go to germany, had a great game, and i have a feeling we are looking at a future england captain there.

Absolutely gutted for West Ham - immense performances from the whole team, particularly Reo Coker and Benayoun.

Penalties absolutely stink and it was a very unfair end to an amazing match.

Gerrard's goals were unbelievable though - it's hard to say if either side deserved to win more than the other.

im glad liverpool won, west ham were very dirty against boro, including a elbow smash that nearly cost schwarzer his world cup place. so justice done.

There's a great shot at the end of the CL final, Gerrard has just lifted the trophy, all the players jumping around and in the background Carra is hanging onto the raillings trying to stand up

great game for all concerned, just for Gerrard's 2nd goal Pool deservered to win, especially given it came as the commentators said Gerrard was out of it. Still harsh on the Hammers though but they shoulda laid down for Spurs so ah well

Personally I felt West Ham deserved that by far, they outplayed Liverpool for 80 of those 90 minutes, and were stung by that screamer from Gerrard.

I was gutted when that last ball hit the post, I really think West Ham should have been the ones leaving with the cup today.
