The FA CUP Third Round - 7/8/9 January *** Spoilers ****

Urgh either a repeat of New years last year back to Dagenham or two trips to Milwall in the space of 6-8 weeks

Would have done ANYTHING for any of the other London teams but a close by away for a Birthday weekend is ok

One trip to Millwall is enough for any person in a lifetime. Harsh luck.

I suspect it's the draw most fans expected and ones that most fans really don't want either. I for one am not looking forward to this game one bit

Is this just United fans you are talking about or both?

I can't wait, should be able to get a ticket too :D

Did you ever go to the Withdean? :p

btw, i bet on Southampton to beat Coventry yesterday at half time, got 3/1!

Haha nah couldn't get a ticket for the Withdean :p (seen the "highlights" from a few games there and that's a weird place to have been) Least the daggers place you could see the game ;)

Whey! The only person in the entire UK to care! :D (it was a terrible game to go to but made up for missing a few away games this month)

Possibly both. What is already a potential tinder box game has just been made 10 times worse with the Suarez/Evra Gate. Don't get me wrong I would love it if we beat you but I very rarely enjoy these games

Indeed.

It might sound bad but in a strange way the incident with the Oldham player might be a blessing in disguise. I'd have been very worried that at least the odd idiot would have said something to Evra, however I'm now certain that the club will make an extra effort to make sure it doesn't happen.

It will be interesting to see how many tickets Utd are given. FA Cup regulations state that the away team must get 15% but Utd have already had their allocation for league games at Anfield cut by local authorities due to safety issues. With the added tension, it wouldn't surprise me if your ticket allocation is cut again.

Hopefully it's just a great atmosphere, I suspect it will be more than a bit nasty though.

I expect Evra will want to play, he's that sort of character.

If he does play, the first thing I'd do would be to put Bellamy up against him.

Exactly what I said at the time of Liverpool's initial statement, they made the whole Suarez case a United v Liverpool thing. Hope anyone who goes to the game returns home safely

Thought it was 25% but you maybe right on that

It's not just that though, it is not going to look good if Anfield spends 90 minutes booing Evra, regardless of their intentions.

I don't care how it looks if that's all that happens. There are plenty of reasons for disliking Evra before the Suarez incident and he didn't exactly come out of the incident looking like an angel either.

It's only 3000 seats if 15% of your stadium is more than that. Fairly sure it is anyway.

EDIT: Oh wait no, I think that's the league's rule.

Yea, that's the league rule. It's 15% for the FA Cup. There was some stuff on it in the press a few weeks back in regards to todays City-Utd game. Supposedly City were only offering Utd ~6,000 tickets and Utd were pushing for the full 15%.
