Really? I could see Ferguson playing him just to get your lot in trouble if the fans start on him.
Whether he plays or not, this match has the potential to be the most volatile Liverpool-Utd game in many a year.

Urgh either a repeat of New years last year back to Dagenham or two trips to Milwall in the space of 6-8 weeks
Would have done ANYTHING for any of the other London teams but a close by away for a Birthday weekend is ok
Wonder if Webb will be the ref
One trip to Millwall is enough for any person in a lifetime. Harsh luck.

I'll be cheering on the Daggers in the replay even if going there was a bit like going to a secondary school with one stand...
I suspect it's the draw most fans expected and ones that most fans really don't want either. I for one am not looking forward to this game one bit
Did you ever go to the Withdean?
btw, i bet on Southampton to beat Coventry yesterday at half time, got 3/1!
Is this just United fans you are talking about or both?
I can't wait, should be able to get a ticket too
Nope. And I wouldn't bet against Evra missing that game too.

I expect Evra will want to play, he's that sort of character.
It might sound bad but in a strange way the incident with the Oldham player might be a blessing in disguise. I'd have been very worried that at least the odd idiot would have said something to Evra, however I'm now certain that the club will make an extra effort to make sure it doesn't happen.

Indeed.

It will be interesting to see how many tickets Utd are given. FA Cup regulations state that the away team must get 15% but Utd have already had their allocation for league games at Anfield cut by local authorities due to safety issues. With the added tension, it wouldn't surprise me if your ticket allocation is cut again.
Hopefully it's just a great atmosphere, I suspect it will be more than a bit nasty though.
If he does play, the first thing I'd do would be to put Bellamy up against him.

It's only 3000 seats if 15% of your stadium is more than that. Fairly sure it is anyway.Thought it was 25% but you maybe right on that
It's not just that though, it is not going to look good if Anfield spends 90 minutes booing Evra, regardless of their intentions.

EDIT: Oh wait no, I think that's the league's rule.
