The FA CUP Third Round - 7/8/9 January *** Spoilers ****

Sod the Evra/Suarez incident. An investigation should take place into the draw. ITV are clearly rubbing their hands together after the City and Liverpool draws.

Seriously, what are the chances of getting your two biggest rivals in consecutive EARLY rounds. It's pathetic.

The draw was handled by the FA was it not? Do you really believe the FA would have wanted a Liverpool-Utd game after what's gone on?

A long time ago, I worked for an events company and we did some work supporting the FA at Euro '96. It was intimated to my boss that some balls were microwaved and some put in the freezer before the draw

What's happening in the Sheffield Wednesday v West Ham game? Showing as being in the 11th minute of extra time.

Edit: Someone got stretchered off it seems.

Julian Bennett got knocked the **** out at the post by one of our own players.

Fantastic game

Wednesday were the better side, created more chances and looked more creative and attacking. T'was a really enjoyable game though, fantastic cup tie.

Also, might only of been ~18'000 fans (which is a major disappointment) but it was fantastic atmosphere wise, Wednesday and West Ham fans singing songs together about their shared hate of certain clubs. There was also a fantastic rendition of "Paulo Dicanio" and "Carlos Tevez" too. Fantastic banter / atmosphere.

Nicky Weaver on form to save a penalty too, which never was a penalty.

Also, was forced to endure Alan Green on 606 tonight. What a utter odious piece of pond life he is. That was a red card for Kompany. His entire argument (Green's) was dross. Love how he cut one guy off because "This isn't a dictatorial platform" (As the guy was having a mini rant) lolworthy broadcasting from the BBC.

It was a red card. Foy didn't 'ruin' anything.

Highlight of the day - watching Big Sam foam at the mouth because his 'route one' 'hoof ball' wasn't working against a League One side.

No creativity in the final third for West Ham, if thats the style the endure week in, week out. They have my sympathy. Terrible.

Also; funny that my season ticket seat (and a couple of season tickets near me, including my dad and brother) was double sold, once to me for the FA Cup game (which I'm given a priority / early purchase period) and then again to a couple of random blokes.

It looked quite innocuous, but that's only because Nani ducked out of the tackle to ride it, if Nani challenged for the ball he was in big trouble. It's silly to dismiss it as not being a red, the laws say excessive force is a red card, and the ref judged it as that, quite understandably.

Conspiracy theories at their best. I cant believe how they could fix the draw, it's simply one of those wacky coincidence's that Football tends to throw up

You'd think so, but Chelsea's run of opponents in the cup certainly defies statistics. I was genuinely shocked to see them drawn away from home and potentially against another Premiership side.

ok now take your tinfoil hats off for a moment all you people who think the draw was a fix and explain how you think that the draw could have been fixed?

magnets? braille? chewing gum?

I don't think anyone does really but we have been seriously unlucky with our draws recently, we've played City x2, Arsenal, and now Liverpool x2 in our last 8 FA Cup games.

I don't care how it looks if that's all that happens. There are plenty of reasons for disliking Evra before the Suarez incident and he didn't exactly come out of the incident looking like an angel either..

You won't care but I can bet your sponsors and owners will not be happy with more reports bringing the name of the club down. I agree with what you are saying about Evra, he's very unlikeable but in normal circumstances he wouldn't have got 90 minutes of booing.

So the conclusion will be made that the fans are equally as racist when they target him for 90 minutes in the face of overwhelming press reports saying liverpool and their fans have been slow and backward in their reaction and handling of suarez.

It will not reflect well on your club, the best thing they could do is ignore him completely.

You'd conclude that Liverpool fans are racist for booing Evra? Maybe they'd boo him because they generally dislike him, or because he attempted to incite the crowd prior to the Suarez incident, or because he openly admits to instigating the argument with Suarez or because they disbelieve him.

It's said that our main sponsors are fully supportive of the club during the whole saga and it would be very dangerous for any media outlet to claim Liverpool supporters are racist for booing Evra.
