Any suggestions for slim-fit shirts that aren't lumberjack/tea towel/"going fishing" style?

E: this looks nice http://www.esprit.co.uk/mens-shirts/textured-shirt-100-cotton-045EO2F055_452 although not sure on the fitting, doesn't look slim fit in the pic.

I just bought some shirts from zalando, was going for these looks:

The other shirt is white with a light pattern on it. The short sleeve is for summer and fishing trips :)

Thanks for pointers though. Those trousers are about as tight as I am willing to go and far tighter than my previous fits.

I see the new style is more plain shirts.. That I can do.

Could anyone give me some advice on where to get a nice leather jacket for ~£200-£250?

I'm relatively tall (6'1"), and quite slim (I wear medium-sized casual shirts, sometimes slim fit depending on the brand, and 32" waist jeans, to give some idea). After my final exam in a fortnight I'll be working out regularly to try and become a bit more toned and just in better shape generally.

Really looking for something that'll be quite tight, not have an excessive number of zips and fake pockets etc and not a bomber jacket. I'm currently keen on a cognac-brown jacket, though I'm also looking at black ones. I quite like the rugged look of raw leather as opposed to the more refined look some jackets have, but again, it comes down to finding the right one.

I've never spent so much money on any article of clothing, and really want not to regret buying this in a year or two. My general style is smart-casual, 21 years old.

Any suggestions as to where to begin or good makes/shops to look in?

EDIT: I quite like the look of these, but the price is literally 6-8 times what I want to spend:

I posted about one earlier today, I bought it in the end and it's a nice tight fit but with enough room to allow it to breathe as time goes on and become snug. It is in your price range. Also keep an eye on Soul revolver. they produce made to measure leather jackets and they're supreme quality, though they do cost a bit more than your budget but are well worth it. I have a Cafe racer jacket from there and it is sublime.

+1 for Soul Revolver cafe racer. I love mine. They aren't really made to measure though nowadays (I think they used to do that). You do have to submit your sizing (chest, waist, shoulders etc) for them to check it will ift but the jackets are still "small, medium, large" etc.

Slightly higher than that budget though.

Tried buying a navy with white flowers like that one you've bought Chipperhead but from Charles Tyrwhitt and was pretty disappointed with the fit considering it was supposed to be "slim fit". Was like dressing myself in a two man tent.

Anything I can only echo what Chipper said, go for long sleeve and roll them up if needs be. Short sleeves no matter what just still seem to exude a sort of IT geekyness (I know, I know, we're on a PC forum etc etc...).

Thanks a lot! I'm not too keen on the one you bought, but it's a lot better than some of what I see!

The Soul Revolver ones are a bit above budget yes, but my god they look gorgeous.

I feel like I should save for one because they've got more than one that look ideal, and a nice leather jacket is something that's meant to last sooooo.... yeah...

I'm slowly moving away from my short-sleeved shirts. They look so "Englishman in Benidorm".

Hi all

I need some new casual shoes/boots like desert boots as I can't keep wearing trainers all the time but I need them to be as comfy as possible. I have mild pain when I stand on my feet a lot and so need something with good comfort levels.

I have a £40 Amazon voucher from my birthday and willing to pay another £40 tops to get a decent pair. So I am asking you stylistas to find some boots for me. Size 9 UK

cheers

Any large-footed people here? I have size 12 feet, but I've realised not all size twelves are made equal. Some retailers sell EU size 47 as UK size 12, but what I really need is EU 48, but few retailers sell size 13 shoes.

I just kind of need a new pair of dress shoes this summer and frankly don't want to fork out a small fortune just because my feet are a little too big.
