We played a few rounds earlier this evening - had a few great wins!
 
I'm loving this at the minute. I'm annoyingly stuck playing on the PS5 at the minute due to my PSU dying which is a pain as the PS5 controller is pretty pants in my opinion.

As a note for anyone that bothers with the contracts, the one for damage with arena pick-ups is actually hitting them with the item rather than the gas or fire that comes out. It's best to get the propane tanks that shoot a bit like rockets. The grenade one I'm not sure on as I play a couple of hours last night trying to use just grenades as my damage only went up a few hundred out of the 2k points I needed so not sure if it's the initial explosion that counts for them rather than any AOE that might happen with say the pyro ones.

Best to take a grenade launcher for the 'nade contracts - much quicker (might need some new teammates afterwards though depending on your accuracy and restraint :D)
 
New patch just landed:

  • You can now see your actual position in the leaderboards once you have played a ranked match.
  • Changed requirements for unranked tournaments from 12 to 6 matches
  • The Recent tab in the social screen is now working
  • Fixed some crash instances
  • Animation improvements to movement feel to get closer to the OB experience
  • Fixed a bug where some doors in Vegas would open in the wrong direction
  • Hold interactions that are started while moving will no longer be interrupted prematurely
  • OCE/SA Server Regions are selectable on all platforms

Do PS5 players get any aim assist in this game?

That's not too bad then as long as it not horrendous :)

I'm a bit of a Chivalry 2 fan and when cross play was implemented the console aim assist with the archers was stupid. Anyway they dumbed it down so all good now.
