** THE FIRST FREESYNC MONITOR ARRIVES AT OcUK!! **

In fairness guys, look around, you won't find FREESYNC monitors IN STOCK nearly anywhere else worldwide.

I am a good buyer, I have stock now, OcUK first in the world with stock, I am amazing, AMD are just sticking to their scheduled launch date which was not in a public domain.

So don't give them to much of a hard time. :)

Sorry Gibbo to burst your bubble, another popular UK etailer had the XL2730Z in stock on tuesday and still got 44.

Well good job this hasn't been shipped on this news I'm canceling my order as my pls screen already does 110hz at so this is no upgrade till they have crossfire support.

The next driver isn't Omega part 2 though is it, as the next drivers are just BETAs (AMD confirmed), Omegas are going to be every 4 months or so, with BETAs in between (as was confirmed by AMD).

Today is a day of disappointment rather than excitement by the sounds of it :p

Why? am very happy with what am using seeing.. Yeah sure couple issue that needs addressing. But going from what I just come from.

Am more than happy..

Freesync will just after wait.. I said it both and i'll say it again Freesync wasn't my main reason for upgrading my monitor anyway.

I have posted this quite abit over the past couple months..

What's not disappointing about a monitor neither running at its marketed refresh rate or its main feature? That's not overclockers fault. But I'd be surprising if many people weren't disappointed with their first days using the monitor, that doesn't make the monitor bad st all, and it could be amazing when it's working as advertised. But how on earth can it not be disappointing when it doesn't actually work as marketed lol Right now :p?

Yup, its hilarious, what a complete **** up, but no surprises tbh, as its AMD. :D

Its AMDs fault OCUK released early??

HOW?

The AMD hate is very strong!

I just get on with it! nothing I can do to change it. Just enjoy what I have got. 1440p so far is very good.

BenQ sold the monitors to OCUK, OCUK put them up for sale. That's not OCUK's fault it's more BenQ jumping the gun trying to mop up some sales early.

However, if I'm being completely honest there shouldn't have even been any Freesync monitors until AMD had it up and running publicly. So I blame AMD for not being ready.

I can't remember what application I use at home to get 1440p (off my 4K monitor) with AMD, you can actually set frequencies other than resolutions with it.

I will check later and report what the name is for anyone that's interested in trying.

Maybe they held it back at last minute from Omega because they didn't want premature reviews? That would explain it still being in slides and news but not patch notes.

Either way what the hell. All I can hope is that Gibbo is right and they're bringing it forward. Especially for xfire users, April can turn into May reeeeal easy...
