** THE FIRST FREESYNC MONITOR ARRIVES AT OcUK!! **

Lol greg, you deserve a moment of glory after ramgate, but ironic that you argued with many an unhappy Nvidia owner that there was no problem with their purchase yet a happy BenQ owner should get stick?
I recall on the discussion of the Asus ROG Swift's rip-of...ahem *high price*, and how the Gsync premium of the monitor will trap the users to only be able choose Nvidia for future upgrade, and Greg insisted there's nothing stopping people from going back to AMD...not being able to use G-sync doesn't meant they cannot use the monitors, and then he went on and on about how 2560 res 144Hz monitor is one of the main reason people upgrade to it.

Now BenQ's monitor can still do 2560 res 120Hz/144Hz despite Freesync is not yet ready, where happen to all his praise for that? :D

Apologies greg,

No problem. I was hoping to hear how well it works in truth. You know full well I am a proponent of A-Sync tech and what it does for gamers and like I have said before, I want my fellow AMD users to enjoy their games as much as I do and the more enhancements for both AMD and nVidia is a good thing.

you have to laugh at threads on here nvidia mess up amd boys comes baiting. amd boys mess up nvidia boys bait.

why cant we all just play at 144hz and be happy :D

The thing is Gibbo claimed reponsibility, and people are still quite happily to blame it on AMD. So I guess Gibbo lied to take the bullet for AMD if that was true...

Either way am happy.. All that matters enjoy the rest your day..

I'll post my findings once Freesync is released. Atm I'll just enjoy what I have and it's quite nice upgrade to what I was using.

1440p is very nice wasn't expecting this much of detail.

I'm genuinely happy you're enjoying your monitor.

I hated the awful colour shift no matter where I looked at the screen, and as for the video, well we discussed that earlier, have you tried a blu-ray or youtube 1080 vid yet ? Remember to drop the refresh rate to 60Hz

I just did a google shopping search and 5 shops in the UK have this monitor in stock. Not as cheap as OcUK (Kudos Fella's) but to answer your question...Yes I can :D

They actually do not, if you look it says in stock but upto 3 day delivery and collection not available. ;)

There is no stock in their warehouse, the stock is in our warehouse and were feeding them a stock level so they buy from us, hence same or higher price. ;)

Yeah still selling well even with warning, end of the day the technology will come and it works, it was demoed heavily enough at CES.

I think just shy of 50 units shipped now, though a university took 20 units, seems these days at Uni they must just be playing games. :D

Yeah been watching some youtube and tried films everything seems to be fine.. Be even better once I get time to calibrate it.

Why drop refresh rate? I never once had to on this monitor or my old one.

Don't apologise then if you don't mean it :p

Ohhh and you were one of the biggest **** stirrers in the 970 threads and posting stupid gifs, so don't give me crap when you are one of the biggest mud slingers here.

The monumental number of 3 gifs, your having a laff now or kidding yourself that I'm in your league?

Your only 2 posts off equalling my monumental total post count of 22 in the ramgate thread and we're only hours into the missing sink debacle.:D

PMSL.

There is one other popular etailer who had 50+ in stock yesterday and now there is less than 50 in stock now.

But OCUK are cheaper and I was loyal and purchased from here.

Counting down the hours before I get to move from a 1080p 60hz IPS to the lovely 1440p 120hz. (Missing out the TN part)

Because the native source will never be higher than 60Hz. You'll introduce more crap/frames as the monitor needs to fill that refresh rate with something.
