Blows away the HD 7970
Errr no. It's slightly better and clocked very high, need to see how far it clocks to make a fair judgment on this card.

So more performance for less power? Any idea on the price yet?
Edit: 1GHz on the core stock?

The 7950 is looking more and more tempting, still I will await some 680 overclocking results before making a move.
I know quite a few people with dyslexia and usually when they write their sentence structure is fine, it's just that they making more spelling mistakes and grammatical errors (so pretty it's pretty much indistinguishable from normal internet posts).
Don't forget Price.
Although you're right, an overclocked 7950 seems like it might be the sweetspot for most.
The core clock is 1006MHZ and it can boost itself upto 1058MHZ.
